well damn my duckpond the problem has been found. it would seem that the chat doesn't opperate with internet explorer. why this happens? no idea. i won't be able to fix this problem until tonight (as my programming skills are crap and i'll need help to get this sorted)


in the short term however i recommend using an alternate browser until further notice. firefox being ideal.

You should just be using Firefox anyway. Clearly the superior browser!

I find it odd that so many things screw up when IE is used, especially in the case of chatrooms. You'd think that those problems would be nonexistent at this point...

The words "the chat" could be replaced with just about anything imaginable and still be correct.

It's true. Even the old chat had problems with Internet Explorer.

I'm sure any other browser would be fine. At work I use Opera too - and that has no problem.

At home I use Safari, so... no excuses. IE just isn't that good sadly...

So you're saying that IE is the most amazing thing ever invented by humans? I tend to disagree.

Chat is working for me on Firefox, but I'm on vacation, so I'm not using my normal connection, so I can't tell if it is problem free for me for sure.
