when I try and log into chat it comes up with this axachat thing, and if I enter in my details there it still doesn't work.

so what gives?

Just don't fill in the password and just use a username.

Can we switch back to the old chat, this one is lagging for me, takes 5 + seconds to saend a message and you can't change the refresh rate, thge old chat at least wasn't bad, maybe look into other opensource alternatives like this:

About AjaxChat.org

Or something similar, that current Ajax one is really bad I think.

EDIT - Or just do a clean install of the Gixaw one as that worked fine, its just got too big for good use etc.
