I would love to be able to view more than 10 posts at once in a thread. Even a choice to see 20 would be very welcome.

You should already be able to do this. If you go to your User CP and click "Edit Option" under "Settings and Options" on the left, you should see a section called "Thread Display Options" about 2/3 of the way down the page. There should be a pull-down allowing you to view more than 10 per page. I currently have mine set to 20.

I'd like to see polls get it's own section, seems the general discussion is crawling with them, and I can't get to the other information as easily.

I don't think this would work well. The polls can get annoying but moving them all to one place would just mean a lot of work for mods moving polls that are in their content-related areas.

I agree. Also, it would create an abundance of not-too-often-used subforums, unless Merc is suggesting all polls go to one place; in that case, you've got a mixed bunch of polls anywhere from Painting to 40k to Fantasy to Privateer Press to Off Topic Discussions. Not really a good idea as far as organization goes.

I'd really like it if I got some sort of heads-up when someone commented or asked a question in the Showcase section. I (and I'm sure everyone else) get occasional questions about techinque or colours etc and I often don't notice until weeks later. Plus it's a nice warm feeling when someone says they like your pics.

I LOVE YOU GUYS!

okay now that that is out of the way...

I'm a user of the smilies. Thy can project a sense of tone an sincerity/sarcasm, that sometimes gets lost in the internet text translation. I had noticed,
Librarium Online's list of smilies....

thre are not any that are unhappy.

No frown.
No furrowed brow.
No teeth gritting.
No fuming.

Not evn a "pouter".

If this was intentional, That's cool, but I'm wondering if there are more than just those that show up under the: [ more ] link.

noone is allowd to be "not happy" here?

The "more" link contains all of the smileys we currently have to offer.

The reason there are no frown smileys is 'cause nobody is ever said on LO. :drinking:
