    CHARACTERS

1 Grey Seer (twisted crown horned rat)--285
1 Warlock Engineer (full kit minus pistol) (dispel scroll)(death globes)--130
1 Warlock Engineer (full kit minus pistol) (storm daemon)--110

ADVICE: The grey seer doesn't need a Twisted crown, I see why your doing it, i'd go a different way though. I'd leave him bare bones, and take scrolls and power stones. Never hurts to beef up a plague spell if your going to throw it. However, I personally, see a grey seer as a waste. A grey seer's main function is a caster, a level 4 is not garunteed to roll a warp lightning spell. Having 3 engineers however, garuntee's you 3x warp lightning and 1x storm demon for 4 castable spells at a reduced cost. Some see plague as good, I see it as not worth throwing 4 dice to cast, skitter leap is a waste, vermin tide useless, death frenzy and pestilence breath are mixed at best. With the saved points i'm bring a defensive warlord to give your army leadership 10. Even a basic build: Heavy armor, shield, just to lead from the back is useful.

    TROOPS

    ***CORE***

    24 clanrats (standard bearer and musician)(ratling gun)--195

    5 night runners(add. hand weapon)--35
    5 night runners(throwing stars)--35
    5 night runners(slings)--45

ADVICE: I don't like night runners. yes they are not overly expensive, and great at re-directing, however using units of 2 PWG's accomplishes the same goal. Slings are useless, they will always be used on hitting on 5-s and almost always be long range, multi shot is a waste. I do like the set of 5 with throwing stars! Cheap effective, and can great vs fast cav. Clan rat units are exactly as they should be, between 20-30. Weapon teams I love, however some people hate. I have started bringing 1 warp fire thrower in my list, and 2 ratling guns at 2K. They are incredible. I usually hide them and fire into a combat involving the slaves.

    ***SPECIAL***

    5 gutter runners (poisoned hand weapons)(tunneling team)--85

    6 warplock jezzail--120

20 plague monks (add. hand weapons)(standard bearer and musician)--175

ADVICE: no compliants. I like the inclusion of plague monks, its different and fun. Plus they scare opponents occassionally from their 16 attacks off the front rank of 5. Only thought is maybe a magic banner IE banner of swarm, warbanner, hatred.... all are helpful and cheap.

    ***RARE***

    1 warp lightning cannon--100

    6 plague censer bearers--102

    TOTAL-- 1999 points
    MODELS-- 192

ADVICE: No real advice, WLC is good, and if your bringing Plague monks you should have censer bearers. 6-7 is optimal, more is kinda a waste, less is often non-effective.

OVERALL: Even without tweaks I recommend its pretty solid. Do not let me deter you from using what you like. I use a skaven army that I enjoy, but everyone is different. I also mix in my grey seers, but my warlord comes out for any real competitive games. I will admit the army I play gets a little redundant, I wish I had more options to play around with but i'm still painting them.
