I know rat ogres are obscenely overpriced for their ability, but now my tried and tested rat swarms are very vulnerable to the new crumbling rule. I have 200 points up for grab in my army with my characters maxed out. What do you recommend: 3 poison rat swarms or 4 rat ogres?
.....ower swarms are the badest swarms in the game and 65p for posioned t2 guys?? i dont think so rat orges can chop upp cavalery with ther s5 attacks
Swarms are pretty much garbage with the new rules. I wouldn't touch them, at least not until the new book comes out.
If you have to go with one of the two, take ogres, hands down.
Honestly though, unless you are attached to the ogres I'd field something else entirely if possible. More clanrats, another unit of stormvermin or plague monks. Maybe get some rattling guns/warpfire throwers out there.
