    3k mostly fun build

Ok first time posting a build here so sorry if it's wrong format or anything but here goes...

    Lords:
Thanquol and bone ripper (I prefer him for dreaded 13th over a grey seer for his tokens)

    Heroes:
    Death master snitch (infiltrated)
    Bsb: storm banner
Priest: portents of verminous doom, 2 tokens

    Core:
140 clan rats, full regiment, 35 models per regiment
    2 wind mortars
    2 rattling guns

    Special:
10 gutter runners, champ only, 2 sets of 5
10 jezzails, champ only, 1 unit
15 globadiers, champ only, 1 unit
    1 wind mortar

    Rare:
    Doomwheel
    2 warp lightning cannons

    Total points:2997

This is my attempt at a shooter/magic heavy list and will play against WoC primarily as well as tomb kings and high elves (against those 2 I will probably sub out the jezzails for more gutter runners or globadiers depending on feedback)

Concerns: so many points held up in fairly weak rats basically they were just filler for core points and to get a few weapon teams and will hold up units for the globadiers to safely bomb away at

    Possible substitutions:

A HPA instead of Doomwheel and cutting down jezzails to fit
    Census bearers instead of Doomwheel
    More globadiers instead of Doomwheel
3 sets of storm vermin instead of 4 sets of clan rats (would have to play with points/banners to know how many would fit)

Keep the DW, they are great in shooty lists.

    Couple suggestions:

Gutters need slings and poison to shine, especially against T4 armies. No champ. They rule though, one of our best units.

Jezzails should split into units as small as possible to have the option of separate targets, and to split up your shooting threat. No champ.

Globes look fine. These and jezzails will get their points back only if they have hard things to shoot at.

Shield for the BSB, storm banner is bad for our shooty lists, it affects gutters. If no storm, give him armor of destiny and halberd instead of shield.

A warlock will do more damage than a priest for less points, consider why you want him.

Otherwise looks awesome, the above comments are just optimization suggestions.

Hhhmm good points for the bsb and warlock vs priest...my original list when I had the priest was going to be slaves and one unit of clanrats before I realized slaves couldn't support a weapon team and I wanted that unit as strong as possible since it would be the only close combat guys I'd have

That list did include points for gutters to have slings and poison..I'm on a break at work I'll redesign slightly and re-post

Ok updated list this is from my iPad so not as pretty as I'd like:

Ok first time posting a build here so sorry if it's wrong format or anything but here goes...

    Lords:
Thanquol and bone ripper (I prefer him for dreaded 13th over a grey seer for his tokens)

    Heroes:
    Death master snitch (infiltrated)
Bsb: Armor of fortune, other tricksters shard
Priest: portents of verminous doom, 2 tokens Removed completely

    Core:
140 clan rats, full regiment, 35 models per regiment Removed champs
    2 wind mortars
    2 rattling guns

    Special:
10 gutter runners, champ only, 2 sets of 5 Upped to 3 sets of 5, removed champ
10 jezzails, champ only, 1 unit Upped to 3 sets of 5, removed champ
15 globadiers, champ only, 1 unit
    1 wind mortar

    Rare:
    Doomwheel
    2 warp lightning cannons
Had 100 points left over so stuck a catapult in

    Total points:2975

This is my attempt at a shooter/magic heavy list and will play against WoC primarily as well as tomb kings and high elves (against those 2 I will probably sub out the jezzails for more gutter runners or globadiers depending on feedback)

Concerns: so many points held up in fairly weak rats basically they were just filler for core points and to get a few weapon teams and will hold up units for the globadiers to safely bomb away at

    Possible substitutions:

remove some globadiers or jezzails and catapult for second Doomwheel
Remove some globadiers/jezzails for second warlock but on hindsight not sure what I'd do with him the irst has the rocket and condenser

in order to get slaves id have to either give up weapon teams if i replaced clanrats with them or something else if i keep the clanrats what would you suggest? i wanted to have slaves when i first created the list since they can have slings as well and through magic poison too

hmm not too sure where you can sqeeze them in, however people generally run them naked or go with shield to get a parry 6+ ward. They have BS2 which deems like an issue but i'd like to hear what brock has to say, that many shots should do something
