At the end of the book, are the alternate lists still legal/viable? Like if I wanted to make a Clan Moulder list, would that be okay or would I get laughed at? LoL
Victory is achieved through mettle.
Glory is acheived through metal.
The Appendix lists in the back of the book have never been official lists to play with.
If you use the with friends, then I guess you need to ask them what they think about it, but in my experience, stores and/ or tournaments are no-go areas with those lists.
As to the clan Moulder list, you might want to check the Hell Pit list from US WD #310/ UK WD #311, which is a bit better then the Appendix one.

"Eagles may soar high, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines"
Didnt know the end appendix lists werent "legal" in tournaments well there goes my friends plan for a full eshin army master assassin and such.
What is free will but an illusion created by those foolish enough to belive they have any control over their lives.
The clan armies are in no way legal at torneys and such, you will probably be laughed at, but they are great fun to play (I love the Skyre). Use them when playing with friends.
Their legality depends on what your tourney organizer says, and if your gaming group is fine with it go right ahead.

Legality if fairly simple.
Games Workshop events IE Gamesday and Grand Tournment Shops only allow the stand lists, no Storm of Chaos Eshin, No Lustria Clan Pestlience, and No back of the Book.
Independent run GT's will follow the similar Gamesworkshop Guidelines, with occassionally allowing Storm of Chaos Eshin, and Lustria Pestilence
Smaller venue tournments, and occassionally a GW run even will allow a back of the book list, however this is usall a No Go as the newer books do not have back of the book lists any longer.
