Hey guys, this is my first time posting on these forums, and I am also just starting fantasy. My friends and I decided to get into this game for casual play (we did painting and mostly hobby collection, but we do understand the rules, and know the armies pretty well). So I decided to play Skaven, because they have always been my favorite, and I have been working on completing a Skaven army for play with my friends. My other two friend who are getting in play Dwarfs/Vampire Counts (Blood Dragon Army), and Goblin Army. I have set up an army list for play, and I was wondering if you think it would be a good/decent list to play with.
-Upgraded Warp-Energy Condense
-Bands of Power (Usually binding Skitterleap)
-2xAdditional Warpstone Toke
-Upgraded Warp-Energy Condenser
-Bands of Power/Storm Daemon/Dispel Scroll (depending on the army)-2
(5x)Posioned Wind Globadiers
-Extra Hand Weapon
(2x)Rat Ogres/Warplightning Cannon
Army Total: 1000pts
The whole of idea of my army is to lock the front line in combat by turn two using Clanslaves and my 115pt unit of Clanrats to stop advance. Then, pull up my Plague Monks/Rat Ogres, or even my unit of Clanrats with the Rattling Gun. Then, weaken the front with Jezzails and Globadiers, and Warp Lightning. Pretty standard. The one win con I though of was unloading with Warp Lightning on important units on the front, trying to fist out any dispel scrolls, and to eat dispel dice. Then, use my Engineers bound spell, which is skitterlead, to plop a unit of plague monks (each with three attacks) and a clanrat unit with a rattling gun right in my opponents back field, taking out any essential, and well protected units. The concept is quick and effective power in numbers and magic.
I don't know if this is something any one even likes, or would suggest as a Skaven win con, or even consider, but I thought it was pretty smart. It would be nice if anyone had any suggestions for me.

You should pump up the clanrats to 25-30 rats.. and give the full kit to the warlocks.. that will improve your magic phase.
Maybe consider the warpstone charm for 1 of the warlocks, as it can help him servive a roll of 1 when casting the Warp Lightning spells.
I think you need a fast unit of flankers, maybe giant rats, they are fast - and combined with rat ogres this gives power AND SCR.
By the way, remember to post your army lists in the Army List section
first your characters/items are wrong and illegal. 2nd. NEVER EVER EVER post individual point costs. i sugest you read the rules for posting. do not post un modified unit costs, never post upgrade costs, never post upgrade costs. never post a point cost unless it's total and with all upgrades/models/puchase
eg) 20 slaves = (800 points) not allowed
20 slaves with musician (900 points) is allowed.

not how this works. the item works as a bound spell, not GET's a bound spell. read the full item description " The spell doubles the model's basic strength value.." it doesn't have a spell bound in it, doubling your strength IS the spell.
-Bands of Power/Storm Daemon/Dispel Scroll (depending on the army) can not have 2 of the same item in the army so you can't have bands of power on 2 characters.
first off your choise of equipment for your warlocks doesn't make sence. you have them with
Upgraded Warp-Energy Condenser which frankly is useless without supercharged warp-power accumulator. reason behind this you currently have 4 pd you can use a max of 2 die per warlock(naked) having the upgrade is useless as you should always use 2 die to cast WL.
with the SCWPA you will have 6 die that's 3 per warlock allowing you to cast the lvl 2 WL with 3 die each turn (much better idea) i sugest give them both or only give them blades.
for magic items give one 2 stone and storm daemon, give other 2 stones and dispell scroll.
up your clanrat units up to 25 min.
having a champ in the plague monk unit really worth it, gives you an additional attack on a rank and if you ever fight HE/get charged he can still fight back even if front rank is dead.
i'd say drop the globadears and get a champ for plague monks and the banner of burning hatred. 3 attacks per model (4 for champ) with hatred... deadly combo your gonna be throwin out 16 attacks with reroll... think about that for a min

1) engineer (as stated above) can NOT bind skitterleep to the ring. the ring just doubles your strength.
2) you can only have 1 of the ring so even if you COULD do what your trying to do you can't have 2 do it.
3) you can't move a unit with skitterleep. try reading the spell. "this spell can be cast on the wizard himself or any other friendly man-sized character. man sized character, NOT unit, NOT rattling gun.
4) i highly suggest you read the skaven rule book thoroughly if you read it once. read it again, to many people accuse us skaven of cheating and such, please make sure to read the book thoroughly and follow the rules as they are written.
