Hello, Ive been reading through some armylists and thought that I could post my own. 1 k Skaven horde
This is a very unique 1k army, but it is effective, I´ve wiped a High elf army to the last man with this setup in 3 turns. (Won with 1400 vp to 74 vp), without especially lucky dice.
The army is very offensive and a lot of things can go wrong.
Warlock eng. (general), 135 pts Eye of the horned rat, storm daemon
Warlock eng. 135 pts Warp scroll, 2x warpstone token
Both of the warlocks have "the lv 2 uppgrades"
Assassin 150 pts Weeping blade
26 clanrats w. full command 155 pts
2 rat swarms 90 pts
23 plauge monks w. full command, extra h.wep and banner of burning hatred 234 pts
Warp-lightning cannon 100 pts
= 999 pts
This army has a quite straight forward tactic, scout and kill characters with assassin, blast apart anything in front of you with warp-lightning. Panic big, low ld (goblins?) units with warp scroll and go beserk with plauge monks. The swarms will provide movement and tie up fast/too good at shooting/miners etc. units. When all those threats are away, the swarm will asisst the clanrats.
You can also drop the rat swarms, 1 plauge monk and 1 clanrat to get a unit of slaves and a ratlinggun, this increases shooting potential and numbers.

Why even have the Eye? You generate 6 PD between both Engineers, more than enough for 2 Warp Lightnings. How about a Warpstone Charm for your Storm Daemon Engineer to keep him alive longer?
I'd also look into getting more rats on the board. You could replace the Plague Monks with 25 Clanrats with full command and 2 units of 20 Slaves. All that SCR will help a lot and good protection for your characters.
Rat Swarms are made of fail, Giant Rats all the way.
It's a very offensive style list, I like it.
Yeah, you´re absolutley right about the eye (bad thinking),
But im not quite sure about dropping the monks, they fill an important role in this army with immune to psycology (warlocks here here yes, yes) and thier good combat capabilities.
But I think you´re right about the swarms, when I think about it they didn´t do much at all, just chasing around trying to find a not-dead, no ranks elf, witch was obviously impossible.
So I drop them for a unit of slaves and also drop 1 clanrat, and 4 plauge monks to get a 3-pack unit of giant rats.
What do you think?
That would be good, more bodies are always welcome yes-yes. You may also want to drop 5 Clanrats in exchange for 5 Night Runners. Run them in front of your Monks so they don't go running off after the first unit of fast cav they see and get led into a bad position.
Yep, you´re right (again).
This army is starting to look quite good now!
