Good afternoon all L.Os,
Well I actully have two questions; one is would a entire Eshin army work or a entire Eshin army with jezzails and warp lighting cannon? I only asking as i'm just started skaven i've already got a box of night runners, 6 gutter runners and a assasin (also a converted eshin seer). Thanks in advance.

1st Combined Regiment. Contains Tallarn,Cadians, Catachans,Valhallan,Attilan,Armageddon Steel Legion and Vostroyan. Most Kills in one turn: 98 space marines and 6 rhinos with only the stompa's Gatla Gun (only that)
Short answer, no I don't think so.
Since all eshin units are skirmisher you won't get strenght in numbers, so one dragon on the board and you're toast. When in close combat skaven lives by the static resolution and skirmishers don't do very well there either.
I seriously doubt that you will be able to shuriken an army of Warriors or Chaos to death...

Although I love the idea, i have to agree with the above reply. Due to the weak spot of leadership in skaven and the loss of the rank bonus, it's not very practical.
Especially against high armored dwarfs where shurikens are practically bouncing off haha xD.
If you use the storm of chaos clan eshin list then it is worth it as you will also have the under cover of darkness special rule in play as long as you have a full army of skirmishers but unless you utilise that list when doing an eshin army then i agree with the other 2 replies that it just doesnt quite cut it.
Ive seen whats available for the SoC list and its definitely workable. Not sure if its exactly tournament legal but very deadly. As for a a full Eshin list, here are the benefits:
Skirmishers can march through difficult terrain. This makes them very mobile. Use that cover!
Skirmishers are harder to hit with missile fire. All opponents add 1 to their rolls (ex. BS 4 would hit on a 4, at long range a 5)
Night Runners with slings can do plenty of damage. 2 shots at half range makes alot of dice to roll (40 shots with 20 Night Runners!). Granted, firing slings at half range means you are in charge range, but with any luck you can burn down enough of the unit that your Gutter Runners or Assassin squads can jump in and finish em off.
Assassins and Gutter Runners can poison their weapons. On a roll of 6 to hit you have an Insta-wound. Run big enough squads of Runners or a well placed Assassin and you could have it made.
Tunnelers! I dont run an Eshin army, but I always have a unit of Tunnelers around for kicks. It gets em every time. Most people like to hold something back that they dont want in the front lines, but Gutter Runners will clean that right out.
Im not saying this list is foolproof, just that it is entirely workable if you have a good strat for it. Swarm/SAD armies arent the end of the road for Skaven.
