hi i am going to be having a battle with armies with little to no armour (beastmen goblins ogres) and i am thinking about either having a plague priest or a warlock engineer as my army general the games will be 1000 points max maybe a tiny bit more (say 250 pts)
advice would be much appreciated

Well Warlock engineers are cheap so u can use alot of them and they all have the warplightning spel which is pretty good i think because of your opponents light armour.
I f you use the plague priest u can get max 2 because they aren't very cheap. I don't have the book by me but the plague censer says u have to take toughness tests right? Well ogres and orcs ( not goblins) have a moderate toughness but i don't think it will be effective. But maybe the priests magic is awesome?
I would go with the warlock engineers because the d6 strength 5 hits of the warp lightning. I think u can do more damage and save more points.
