Welcome to Librarium Online!
Just to get my head around this when you shoot into combat you work out how many models are hit the you roll to see if it's a slave or the enemy, even if for example the template lands on all enemy troops in that combat?
hmmm not to sure, i would assume if that who the template hits you just hit them not randomising. BUT! the Expandable rule still says you need to randomise, ask the legendary 'BrockSamson' or 'Warlord Vrrmik'. They're professionals
If it's a template, it hits the models that the template touches (friend or foe), it can't physically wound any other models (think about it - if you're standing 10 metres away from where a boulder hit, do you get crushed? NO!). As for other shooting, I believe the FAQ abolished the randomisation, so all the shots hit the enemy (please correct me on this if I'm wrong).
When it comes to things like cannons - take the Warp Lightning Cannon as an example - all the models in the path of the cannonball (allied or enemy) and the final point of impact (includes any templates involved in the shot) are hit.
I hope this clears things up for you.Oh why you are too kind but I am hardly a 'legend', all it takes is 5 years of experience under your belt and you'll know your army like the back of your hand, even if you only play with it every few months (longer work hours means less time to play for me, unfortunately ).Originally Posted by Punching Gnoblars
As for Brock, it may be a different story...
Haha, hardly a legend. Just a math geek who needs an outlet.
Fear me, mortals, for I am The Anointed, The Favored Son of Chaos, The Scourge of the World. The armies of the Gods rally behind me, and it is by My Will and by My Sword that your weakling nations shall fall. - Archaon, The Everchosen, Lord of the End Times
Terrible at maths here
