So this has come up for me a few times but since I've been running pretty gutter runner heavy and could boost them pretty heavily if this goes my way...if say an assassin has 4 attacks on his profile does he get all 4 attacks for his shooting too? Assassins get throwing stars so to me makes sense a quick agile assassin could launch off a few stars per turn
If yes to assassins what limitations on this? I could see larger weps taking longer to load/shoot and most DE units specificly show they get extra shots from penalties, but they also clarify this saying the wep/dark elves are so agile hey can shoot multiple times in the same time a normal wep shoots once so again my argument would be if they show 2 attacks on their profile that means they'd get 4 attacks
One shot irrigardless of number of attacks.
Some wepaons have "multiple shot" special rule in which case is specifies how many extra shots are made. For instance a bow or handgun will have one shot, a repeate crossbow has x2, and DE throwing stars which is bought as part of a magic item alowance for assasins have x3. If you check the throwing star rules in either the skaven book if they are special thowing stars (magic item for instance), or Basic Rule Book if they are normal it will stipulate how many are thrown.
Normal ones are as far as im aware, just the same as any "thrown weapon", so 1 shot at 6" at the strength of the user.
Yep, attacks only dictate how many attacks in melee, shooting is completely based on weapon stats. Just look up your weapon in the rule book.
