Welcome to Librarium Online!
hi all! So I was wondering if anyone can recommend any good gaming stores or clubs around the Boston area? I'm going to be moving to the Malden area in the near future and will defiantly be looking to keep on gaming! haha I noticed a store listed in the "liberty tree mall" but I heard it was closed? Is this true? Any help is welcome!
Welcome to the North Shore area of Boston! The Games Workshop Store at the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers is open. They have a great staff there and the manager, Kirill, is a great guy. You will find quite an active group that plays there as well.
Look forward to seeing you at the store!
is where i play... a good number of tables... big 40k population, somewhat fewer fantasy...
nice place in cambridge
RocketRollRebel, I will be moving to the Salem area and I would like to find a good gaming club to join as well. I'm hoping to meet somewhat more mature gamers than the last place I came from. I'm not against having fun, it would just be nice to face an opponent that actually owned codex and didn't "remember" all his special rules.
If you can get to Waltham, try Danger Planet Games. There's quite the organized bunch playing there. Good group. They play on Thursdays, but it's a good idea to post in their forums first, instead of just dropping in for a pick-up game. That said, they've got some of the best terrain I've ever seen.
There's also The Compleat Strategist, which I've never played at, but it's on Massachusetts Avenue a block or so north of Symphony Hall in Boston.
In Amesbury (not too bad for North Shore folks) there's Toy Soldier. Nice selection and a robust gaming community.
