Its only in its idea stages at the minute, and I will more than likely need one or two people to help set it up and run it, but aye, Im looking into running a bigger scale LO meet in Nottingham at some point.
The basic idea I have at the minute, would be booking to this hotel:
There is a Holiday Inn near I think, but thats about £10 - £20 more, and I am certain that the Travel Inn pays per room, and not per person, so people can double up and get a twin room, and still only be playing £50 odd between them.
Im fairly certain this is the one I stayed at at the GT, and will be staying in again come August for this years heat one.
But the reason I'd picked this one is that from the hotel you can walk onto the canal, and within 5 to 10 minutes your at Lenton.
And if you dont want to walk the Canal, its about 15 minutes.
Also, theres a Beefeater, and a fairly decent pub next door. So the Evening chats about 40k/WFB/GW/Anything etc are sorted, and of course if some want to stay in the rooms they can *shrugs*
But the basic plan at the minute, would be to meet on the Friday, at a set time. Maybe head into town for a movie or something. Or gaming in the Hotel rooms, or the drinking and chatting in the pub next door.
Saturday would involve Lenton from 10 till 6 XD (Opening and closing times) And the evening again would be loose. A movie, if one wasn't seen the night before? Or the pub next door for chat and what not.
Sunday, would mean people heading off home and what not, maybe after a big huge set mission battle? or more gaming? Depending on when people would want to leave for home.
There would also have to be some basic ground rules.
1- No under 16s (At least. Its not in stone yet) Well bugmans, and a pub next to the hotel, I think this is most likely a must.
2- General Behaviour. No being rudeness and what not. Abusive language etc etc. Since a few of us would be no doubt wearing LO Tees, which have the links and name on. We would be giving LO a bad rep if any of us were rude.
Im not saying anyone would be rude, but still, it would be disppointing to see, no?
Please feel free to add to the basic ground rules or comment on the loose ones I have down at the minute.

Defintly something that I would be interested in.
As for the rules, the General behaviour one is the most important one. We would need to have some idea of who would be coming and make sure everyone is well aware of any ground rules for coming.
Well the age one needs to be there too. The question is what age limit should we have?
Im about to put a poll in Members hangout, seeking just how much interest there would be.
Gonna have to pass.

Efficiency VS Point Cost VS Ease Of Use - Your best bets:
1) Chaplain led Assault squad - 2 plasma pistols, powerfisted sergeant
2) 8 man Devastator squad - 4 missile launchers
3) Land Speeder Tornado - HB + AC
I think it sounds cool
Have to pass on that as well, I was just over in nottingham for the FB GT (and bought 2Kpts DG), so I'll have to sit this one out. Sounds cool though

Well, I'll probably go. Tis a couple of hours of driving, but I must admit I am curious to meet the guys I have chatted to for over a year now on IRC.
Ryan Dancey, Vice President of Wizards of the Coast, believed that TSR failed because of "...a near total inability to listen to its customers, hear what they were saying, and make changes to make those customers happy." Are you listening, Games Workshop ?
Yea, I just dont like Canadians and Kewis XD!!!
Heh, j/k =^_~=
Well, surprisingly we seem to have a few of the Yanks interested. I didn't think any of them would be willing to come all that way for 3 days.
