The LO Meet 2007 will be on the weekend of July 14th/15th
Most of the info and questions are appearing in the other thread, which is good, but I thought it best I put all the info and attendees in one less posted topic. (Please keep all the banter in that thread because I would like to keep this one for Info updates and and further Q&A)
So hotels you can use:
It seems pretty set that most of us, or at least some of us will be using the Gresham again. I know Martox and I will be due to costs and its closeness to the train station (It also has a bar )
Its website can be found at the following link: The Gresham Hotel Ltd, 109 Carrington Street, Nottingham presented by A1 Tourism
Its not like your Travel Inns certainly, but its cheap, and breakfast is included...unlike the £7 Travel Inn ones. (Did I mention it has a bar?)
The only other options I know of are the Castle Marina Travel Inn or Holiday Inn, which are far more costly....closer walk to GW Warhammer World, but further away from the centre of town, its pubs and general eaty foodstuff places.
Its seems there may not be any big games planned this time around, but thats not stopping people from setting one up
There will be a Raffle this year, providing there is the people, but that shouldn't cause a problem this year, as the interest is quite high ^.^
Please, if you are going, could you PM me to say if you are, or whether your interested. So that I can put a list of attendees up. Also, could you please provide me with your choice of hotel, so that I can include that info in the list, so that it might help with people sorting out rooms/taxis/games/evening meals etc

Banter Topic: http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...et-2007-a.html
Feel free to ask any questions, but please keep the banter to the old topic, and please PM me your interest or if you are confirming that you'll be coming, so that it keeps this thread tidy and on topic.
EDIT: If you are on the Possibles list, once you have booked, and are certain to attend please notify me either via PM or in this topic so that I can swap you over to the Confirmed list.
EDIT 2: IMPORTANT! If you are going to stay in a hotel, its wise to book your room as soon as you know you can attend the meet to avoid having to find elsewhere. I will try and get a list of other hotels up soon.

In support of LOC, most of the funds that come from the LO Meets raffle will be put toward the grand LOC total.
Q: Whats going to happen, and when?
Since people are showing up at different times, there is nothing set for this day, other than gaming at Warhammer World until 6pm
A meal for the Friday starters can be sorted out, though if its Pizza Hut again I suggest the one in the city centre as its both nearer to the Gresham and bigger than the Castle Marina one.
Meet in the Gresham lobby for 9am (IF SUNNY!) for a walk to WW for the 10am open time.
If it is raining then taxis for teh win.
*NOTE - There will be taxis at the Train Station which is next to the Gresham.*
(If you don't wish to walk or have a car, then that is fine, we'll see you at WW at 10am none the less.)
Gaming 10am to 6pm
Warning: Last year there was an non GW tourney on, and it might be the case that it might be happening again this year, though I'm sure there should be plenty of tables still to play on if thats the case.
Eating: Depending on how many people there are, we may find that people will form their own groups. You are by all means free to go off and find food and evening entertainment with smaller groups if you wish.
(Though a full scale LO meet invasion of Pizza Hut would be a wonderful sight.)
Cinema: There is also a Saturday night Cinema invasion....I mean visit, planned. All are welcome to come along.
Pubs: Again if you don't want to do the cinema, there are a few pubs dotted about Nottingham that might work for a bunch of wargamers.
-The Trip to Jerusalem
-Ye Olde Salutation Inn
-Pit and Pendulum
(All of these pubs are mint in my drunken foxeh opinion.)
NOTE that the Pit is always 18+ and the Jerusalem is 18+ after 7pm
Same profile for the morning as Saturday.
Gaming all day until 4pm.
Raffle results at between 1pm and 2pm (Raffle tickets will be on sale from Friday morning, and are priced at £1 a strip of tickets.
Sunday evening will most likely consist of a quiet pub meal or somewhere that isn't Pizza Hut or that sells any sort of Pizza based food.
(Note that on Sundays most pubs will stop serving food after 6 or 7 pm. For those staying on the Sunday night, I suggest this one around the corner of the Gresham, though I forget the name.)
Q: What are the raffle prizes? And wheres the money going?
A: Some of the money will be going back to me, as the prizes are coming from my wallet. However, the main reason for the raffle, is not only is it fun, but that the rest of the monies which will hopefully be a lot more than the costs, will go to Kuffy and toward his LOC's total, bumping it to over £200.
As for prizes, so far there will be:
At least one £5 GW voucher
At least one £10 GW voucher
At least one Bugmans Item.
Also, if you happen to only be coming on the Saturday, please don't let this put you off of buying raffle tickets. If you are not attending on the Sunday and you happen to win I will gladly keep a hold of your prize and send it to you once I get your address
Q: Argh! I got lost from the group/group I was in/can't find the Gresham/or Warhammer World/In need of mental and/or physical assistance concerning my Geographic location!
A: Should got mah mobile number when you had the chance then
Q: ;__; Meanie
A: XD - In all seriousness, its best to have a phone number of at least someone who know, who will be attending the meet.
If you don't really know anyone, you are welcome to PM me your own phone number and I will give you my own in return.
If you get lost, and haven't gotten anyones number for whatever reason, I would suggest you make your way to Nottingham City Train Station. The Gresham is on the canal, and within 50 or so yards of the station. Its likely you'll be able to meet a fellow Online Librarian if you can get to the Gresham.
- Please keep checking back to this page for any updates.
-Any questions? or things you think should be added to this FAQ? Please feel free to PM me.
