Space Marine Army List Builder mkIII

Welcome to the new army builder...

When requesting for a list you need to have:
    1. Point Level
    2. Army compositional desires (e.g. no tanks, must have terminators, fluffy, cheesy, etc.)
    3. Any other requests
    4. Which Codex you prefer (e.g. Space Marines, Dark Angels etc.)

Only ask for one list at a time, please.

One of us will build your list, proclaiming we are working on it in the thread, then contact you when it is done, and post it here.

If you have a problem, or do not like our work, do not post here. This is a helping thread. If you wish to talk about your list, PM the appropriate person who made the list. Also if you can rep the maker of the list, they will appreciate it a lot.

Please do not be shy to ask for a list. There are no beginner questions, there are no silly requests.

so with out further ado, lets get those requests coming in

    Sweet

    750-1000p.

I like big, highly overcosted superunits, but it would be nice to be able to play it in tournaments and stuff as well.

    I love Heavy Flamers

    Codex: Space Marines

    Thanks a lot

    Overlord:

    750 points

    Catain, Power Weapon --115

Tactical Squad x10, Melta Gun, Missile Launcher, Power fist, Drop Pod --235

Tactical Squad x10, Flamer, Lascannon, Rhino --215

Iron Clad Dreadnought, 2x Heavy Flamers, Drop Pod --185

To bring up to 1000 i would add this for you

    7 Sternguard Veterans, 2 Heavy Flamers, 2 Combi-Flamers, 2 Combi Melta, Drop Pod --250

Uses a few heavy flamers that you like, and a strong infantry base to hold objectives. Sternguard added to destroy troops on the first drop. When boosted to 1000 you can either switch the first tac squad to a rhino or keep it to have 2 land first turn. Up to you.

    2000pt Biker Knight Army

Captain Bike, Storm Shield, Relic Blade 180
    Command Squad Bikes, 5x Storm Shields, 1x Powerfist, 1x Combi-Melta 315
5x Terminator Assualt Squad 5x Thunder Hammer, Storm Shield 200
Land Raider Crusader (Transport) extra armour 265

    Troops
    5x Bike Squad Sergeant w/ Powerfist 165
    5x Bike Squad Sergeant w/ Powerfist 165
    5x Bike Squad Sergeant w/ Powerfist 165
    10x Tact Squad Melta-gun, Las-Cannon 195

    5x Devastators 2x Missile Launcher, 2x Las-Cannon 190
    5x Devastators 3x Missile Launcher, 1x Las-Cannon 170
    [2000]

Alright so basically you set up shop on an objective either in your deployment zone or close to one with you tact squad and two dev squads and then just move towards them with everything else, this army will be good for a flank charge as you power boost the bikes up the side and head right up the middle with the land raider, should be in combat with a large portion of your opponents army on turn 2 and then on turn three your termies will be crushing into their line as well, also give you plenty of movement to catch the objectives with the bikes... hopefully this works for you

    46 guys
    21 on bike
    11 w/ storm shields
    20 to hold your line

    3) ALL drop pod units with as many dreads as can fit (any type)

    Raven Guard Tourney

    Captain Shrike 195
    Kor'ssaro Khan Moondrainken 205

7x vanguard Jump Packs power fist, sergeant w/ 2 lightning claws 275

    troops
5x Bike squad meltagun sergeant with power fist 175
5x Bike Squad Sergeant w/ power fist 165
10x tactical squad plasma gun, plasma cannon 185
10x tactical squad meltagun, Missile launcher 175

    5x Dev's 2x missile, 2x lascannon 190
    5x Dev's 4x missile 150

5x assault marines sergeant w/ lightning claws 135

    [1850]

key strategy* Keep Shrike and Khan together (you will have to rename khan and use him as a counts as to use him)

    Ok... so this list is more of a hybrid raven guard-white scars list. I included both special character so that before the game starts you join them both to the vanguard squad so they can all infiltrate (make sure that you use shrike's fleet rule) On the first turn after you deploy them together you can seperate them in the movement phase by simply moving them away from each other, I would recommend sending the Van's after one squad while sending Shrike and Khan after another (also from shrike being with khan he will get hit and run as well as furious charge) make sure that you remember that khan's bike allows him to fleet}
You are definately going to be in comabt first turn.

Now for the rest of the army it is quite simple, you want to make sure that where ever the infiltrators are going the bikes can get to in the first turn (even if this means turbo boosting) the two tact sqauds are there to gain you objectives and to help protect your devastators in case they charge at you.

I am sorry that is not supremely fluffy towards the raven's, however you asked me to make it competive, and the first turn crushing of their two most important sqauds will definately help you win...

I know that it looks strange at first but after sitting and thinking about it for a bit it will make perfect sense... The only problem I can really see is that no one will like you during the tourney, I hope you are satisfied with this list and that you give it a go before pushing it away : ) I think you will have fun with it.
