I haven't played much since 4th, and not marines at all since then. About the same for those I'll be usually playing against. What follows was my preferred core in 1,000 point games. I'm hoping for some thoughts/advice on how they might fare under 6th edition. Input on lifting the force up to 1,250 would also be appreciated (edit: from the Also Available or some purchase).

I note from the FAQ that a rhino can carry combat squads from the same unit now and have checked out the differences between power weapons.
My usual opponents will probably be using Eldar, Marines (either Salamanders or Scythe's of the Emperor, latter is higher # of scouts, few/no tanks) and Tyranids in 750 to 1,250 point (per player) (1 or 2) vs (1 or 2) friendlies.
