hey i was hoping that some1 would be able to help me out in creating a death wing army thanx

I am actually presently putting together a Deathwing army myself...what do you need help with?

well i am assuming that the terminators are the troop choice but i also need to know what i can take for the othe roptions in my book it says 20 terminatordreadnoghts and land raiders
but i need help with that
and what i should take with each one

Well, unfortunately this is not battle tested yet, but my present army consists of...

HQ.

Reclusiarch Chaplain in term armor

5xTermies (2 w/ Assault cannons)

5xTermies (2 w/ heavy flamer)

5xtermies (2 w/ heavy flamer)

5xtermies (all w/ lightning claws)

Land Raider Crusader

Land Raider

Dreadnought (ass. cannon)

Dreadnought (ass. cannon)

Dreadnought (las cannon)

I think that comes out to 1830 (the store where I play runs 1850 as the standard point total) ...and then I need to throw in some vehicle upgrades...Also the flamers I'm just using because I HAVE that many...Assault Cannons are more effective.

If you're just asking about OPTIONS....I think all you can grab are terms for any slot you want, Land Raiders for heavy support, Dreadnoughts for elites, and I think Techmarines wearing Term Armor for elites. You can also only have up to one LR crusader...but then you can take LR's for transports I believe...somebody can correct me if I'm wrong on that though!!

Have you two got a Codex later than 2nd etition? I can't find one, just want to know if they exist. I have no idea how Smite works...

DA codex? I don't think there is one newer than second...

Damn. Is the Librarian allowed to choose different powers with the rest of the Codices advancing? Or is it still Smite or Weaken Resolve?

If still Smite and Weaken Resolve, how does Smite work?

DA Lib's now operate using the Codex: SM rules...so Codiciers can take one power or Epistolaries can take two. I don't recall Smite's rules...but I'm pretty sure "Storm of the Emperor's Wrath" replaced it. At any rate, it no longer exists...Weaken Resolve is now "Fear of the Dark"...except tweaked a little bit. But to clarify, you can take any of those abilities.
