On topic:I really havent put much thought on it (hence my vote)but i think it will cause a messed up atmosphere.Imagine 10k sons from 30k fighting 10k sons from 40k...Interesting in a messed up way but still...

Well that's what I like to see, an old grudge match.
All the fluff points that way, but now with 6th edition who is going to know where everything is gonna end up. I believe GW is running out of ideas. That's why I'll like to see something extra done with 30k.

You need to see the tartaros pattern terminators up close to realize that indeed they are running out of ideas.
I hope it was just a lapse though.

my personal opinion is that 30k should be made completely seperate, sort of like LOTR it should be released autonimously by GW

Brother G If your interested go to The Tempus Fugitives I havent been there in a while but they have heaps of stuff to do with mixing 40k (Or 40k style play) with "30k" even things like the chaos legions in the great crusade before they turned to chaos, old school transports like the storm birds and old weapons noones heard of like the perturabo rotary lascannon

Besides that I voted yes just because I'd like to see some transitional games and I'm starting to play more campaigns than pick up games
