Does anyone know when the new DA codex will be out? I did a search but I couldn't find anything. btw, does anyone think Deathwing should be cheaper than normal terminators ? I know people would cry cheese but I mean it wouldn't cost the DA as much resources to field them since there whole first company is terminators. Any thoughts?

I would not be shocked if DA were the last of the "Big Four". They had the most recent Codex update. From what I hear, the order seems to be...

Black Templar
Blood Angels
Space Wolves
Dark Angels

As I remember, the last of the Big Four may not be released until '07. But that's all rumors and speculation, so take it as you will. By the by, an alien codex will be released between each one, so you can understand the time frame.

As for your other question, no, I don't think they should be cheaper. But I do think they should still have their weapon mixing ability back.

'Ello,

I don't know much about the realse dates but I hope DA don't get cheaper Terminators, Terminator armour is still extremely rare and damn hard (fluff wise). Also the fact that in game the points cost is balanced. I can't really see a good reason fluff wise or game wise for them to be cheaper, at the end of the day Terminator Armour is Terminator Armour and as I said extremely rare.

Dark Angel characters already get cheaper terminator armour. :shifty:

Release dates, after Tyranids in April/May, there will be Eldar, Orks and Alienhunters (very possibly in that order). After that is anyone's guess, but the smart money is on SM chapters and Dark Eldar.

Isn't that just because they have to take terminator honours?

But the entire DA first company (Deathwing) is equipped with terminator armour. This means it isn't as rare for them as it is for other chapters. I guess it would be unbalanced, though. I still hope that the deathwing will be able to mix squads again. ^_^

What I meant more was because of it rareness (if thats a word) it will cost the same, its doesn't make it any less valuable just cos they have a lot of them. Even though they have alot of them its probably just as valuable to them as other Chapters.

OK, now I see what you are saying. You're right, they probably do value it as much or more than other chapters. Is what i was saying is even though the DA prize terminator armour as much as any other chapter, it wouldn't be as much of a loss if they lost a squad of terminators as the DA have more squads then than other chapters. I'm not saying that the DA throw away suits of terminator armour, i'm just saying that it would be slightly more expendable( ).
