    Frag grenades.

    is it just me or are the rules for frag grenades really lame, i'm currently using a deathwing army and don't waste points on them, *powerfists* but in normal game terms are they useful and worth having in some squads or a complete waste of points, and has anyone got house rules for them that might make them more useful?

    Actually I usually take them alot on squad that I expect to get into hand to hand alot, you never know when that initiative might make the difference. Though I tend to give it more often with my Kroot mercenaries as they tend to have less initiative than a marine or eldar and as such the frag grenades sort of give my guys a I boost in certain situations.

    Further more, you may not give terminators grenades in the first place. Frag grenades are nessicary on any unit that you plan to assault with. The only units who should never be armed with frags are devs, and shooty tactical squads. Gererally, unless you have the triats to make your tactical squads have bolt pistols and CCWs, its a good idea to keep each marine as cheap as possibile. But frag grenades are extreamily useful when assaulting oponents in cover.
