I have purchased a squad of DW termies but they all come in seperate blisters & therefore dont come with transfers . So My question is how do they get the red DW sword symbols on the shoulder pads as you see them in the codexs etc? Are they carefully painted on? stenciled on? do they obtain extra transfers somehow? I have the DA codex which has the badges but i somehow doubt that your are supposed to scan, print & then glue paper badges to them... If anyone could offer any help on this or has done it themselves, knows how the pro's do it etc that would be awesome Thanks. |

I believe they are on the space marine transfer sheet, but I haven't bought one of the new boxsets so I don't know if the transfers have changed.

nah unfortunately they arent on the SM transfer sheets, atleast not in the new ones anyway.. the SM vehicle transfer sheet has ONE deathwing logo but it is too large for a terminator shoulder pad. The normal SM transfer sheets do have SOME deathwing stuff but not the ones shown on the models in codex's etc (the broken sword with wings, all red) and also the symbol on the right leg armour (skull with wings with a black triangle behind it) blister packs should totally come with transfers & banners etc if they are going to show it in pictures etc otherwise its pretty much false advertising. GRRR at gamesworkshop!! |

Sorry buddy but you'll have to paint them. BTW, I have 8 metal Termies painted Deathwing style (with lightning claws) for trade / cash idf you're interested. It'll be int he trading section, but it's an older thread. |

Not that it helps you with these particular models as you'd have to hacksaw them in half, but forgeworld sells a decent looking set of should pads that you could use for plastic terminators with the badge on one side and honors on the other.
