I really hope your right, if you could give me the page number that says that old codex rules are replaced that would be awesome. The thing that doesn't make sense though, assuming you all are right, and I dearly hope you are, is that the 4th Edititon FAQ for Chaos only says to ignore the sweeping advance section? Whats that all about?
BTW- I am operating from 3rd edititon rulebook, I don't have the fourth one yet, btuy a page number would let me prove to my league members that this is really true.
hotspike, I thought we told you about this a while ago?
Obliterators and Rubric Marines have Initiative 4.
No offence but until you have a 4th Ed. rulebook yourself, you shouldn't contradict people who do about whats printed in it. Until GW says otherwise, this is the way everyone should play it.
Didn't you e-mail the rules guys about it?
Well, for one thing, I called the dude, everyone said he was useless, you guyssaid the same thing about the email rules helpers. I think you're right, but not having a page number is disturbing for me.
Oh right I forgot about that.... Sorry its just that because of something to do with the VDR rules the GW rules guys are in my good books at the moment. That doesn't affect my opinion that their rulings are often inacurate though.

Originally posted by Nayra@Feb 10 2005, 03:43 Yes, they can also fire with plasma cannons and starcannons because they are obviously not listed in their weapons  /Sarcasm off
anyway, as a GW staff member with latest faq rules update for 2005, i can tell u that this rule is I4 (or wateva initive the model is)
