I tried this yesterday
8 Army of the Dead
8 Wariors of Minis Tirith w/ Spear and Shield
12 Orc Warriors w/ Shield
12 Orc Warriors w/ Spear
6 Orc Warriors w/ Orc Bow
6 Orc Warriors w/ 2H Weapon
Skirmish #1 Results
Good Casulties: 6 Army of the Dead 3 Warriors of Minis Tirith
Evil Casulties: 36 Orcs
Remarks: I used the good warriors in a standard shield wall line formation with Dead in front Warriors of MT supporting with spears. In this battle the orcs passed an incredible amount of courage tests, which I think accounts for the higher Good casulties.
Skirmish #2 Results
Good Casulties: 2 Army of the Dead
Evil Casulties: 36 Orcs
Remarks: I used the good warriors as before but in a wedge formation. This time the Orcs failed more courage tests (which is about par for the course w/ Courage 2) and because of how I manuevered my wedge more orcs fled the table after failing their test to charge the Dead.
The Army of the Dead's High Defence make then attractive, but what makes them awesome is their Terror ability. Only two or three orcs were able to charge in any given turn, and fleeing orc will sometimes run off the table.
The new spear rules in ROTK make this formation quite deadly because every Dead warrior has 2 attacks that wound on a 4+. They wound even trolls on a 4+
If used in a wedge formation they are even more effective.
Hope this was informative.
PS The Good formation listed above only costs 192 Points
sadly, even if u fail courage tests, they NEVER run off the table, they just stand on the edge, doing nothing. So really, play it again, and this time, maybe the evil player should use urku-ai, then im sure ull be fighting a much harder game
I adopted a cute lil' pikachu fetus
from Fetusmart! Hooray fetus! </a>
Tell this orc player to use Berzerkers and he will destroy you. Berzerkers own Dead. But yes, against normal orcs, your strategy was awesome.

I checked the rules and any fleeing model that reaches the board edge will exit the game and count as dead.
and Yeah Phoenix, Berserkers OWN AotD.

Yes people i know that my spelling and punctuation is awful but I am product of British teaching pollicies so what can I do about it?
