    WOTR Harad 650p

    This is my first War of the ring list, what do ypu think is it any good? I have very little experiance with Wotr so far, so any help is higly apreciated.


    The Dark Marshall

    3 Haradrim companies, including captain and banner

    1 Haradrim Company with bows

    3 Haradrim raider companies, with banner

    1 Mahud warrior company including a Mahud Chieftain

    Allies:
    1 Mordor troll

    to small

    hey prince meandor if you want to survive wotr you will have to go to at least 1000pts but i like this army list.i think u have a knack for making them.

    I do have plans on expanding it to 1000p by including Dalamyr´s corsairs.
    Something like this:
    Dalamyr the fleetmaster
    2 companies of corsairs with shields
    1 extra company of haradrim archers
    Perhaps Suladan?


    However i am unsure whether my units are to small, is it enough with just 8 mahud? or will the die before they reach the enemy?

    i actually think that 8 muhud would be more than sufficent as long as you don,t charge them on there own perhaps use a few haradrim warriors to accompany them

    when you get down to 4 Mahud they're going to run away, so I would add another company, and shield them with your Haradrim as they advance. In fact I would concentrate on adding companies to your formations before adding more formations in most cases. Dalamyr to me is a good Hero to have.

    With the haradrim, the nice thing is that you can give bows to your "melee regiments". For 5 points more per company, this allows you to have tremendous flexibility while not losing either defense or offense.

    With poison, those arrow shots begin to pepper the enemy.

    A group of Corsair crossbowmen (instead of regular warriors) has a nice defense (thanks to pavisse shields) and shoot hard (STR4). Add the betrayer to them and you have some winners!
