Does anyone include a Shaman/Stormcaller/War Priest in their formations? I tend to go for the sorcerous Epic Heroes instead (like the Nazgul or Kardush) for the extra Mastery (for a similar amount of points too).
Generally, Ringwraiths are better than shamans for their points and what they can do. Every game I've played, I have never used a shaman, because frankly it's not very effective. Also the fact that I use Haradrim, who don't fit the "shaman" theme very well, heck they don't even use them! Although my Easterlings could use a war priest or whatever they have...
Create flames for a galaxy and it will be warm. Put a galaxy in flames and it will be warm for the rest of it's existence.
I always use the Nazgul, usually the Dark Marshal for the Inspiring Leader(Master) special rule (my orcs really need the better Courage), and a formation can use his F5.
For me, shamans are fine but i think others are much better.
