Its not legal for most games as only 33% of models may be armed with bows. Also I would suggest dropping the rangers of the north to say 15 models (thats still 375 points.) and make the rest of your numbers up with ordinary infantry, or perhaps another character.

    k. this is what i got then

    15 rangers of the north
    16 warriors of minastirith- sheilds
    20 riders of rohan
    aragorn with bow
captain of rohan with horse, throwing spear, bow and armour

i was also thinking of dropping the warriors of minas tirith for more riders as then it wouls fit in the book more

That seems quite a cool army. Although I seemt o be the only one posting on this board at the moment apart from you LOL. Grey company shooting supporting a Rohan charge could work well, especially as you have no need to protect your archers as they are good in hth anyway!

I think dropping the warriors for more riders was a good idea. Although maybe some Knights instead of Riders, to add a bit of extra punch to your already strong cavalry, Dol Amroth or Minas Tirith.

I think you should do a pure RatN list, I play one and it has not lost ONE battle yet, just make sure to trap the enemy in one place, don't spread you rangers out, also, try and get an Elven Captain who acts as a RatN captain, sure, it won't always fit in, but still, it works well. . ..

I think he means RotN, Rangers of the North. Wouldn't that be an illegal list in most games though due to the 33% bows rule..... which was made I believe because elves (or anyone with high shoot values) were too powerful if you let them have all shooting list?

RatN will probably soon get the same help as Riders of Rohan, they are legal for full tourneys, so should RatN.
