    hello everyone,
I just started the Lord of the Rings the return of the king tabletop game. Ive always loved the ring wraiths. I currently have 5 ring wraiths on horses. I would like to expand this by getting the witchking (possibly on a fell beast) and the other 3 wraiths on horse. What are your experiences with the ring wraiths? Ive heard that they can either dominate a game or totally bomb a game. Any comments will help. Thanks

    ~Sigs

i think that if you take one or two they can be very deadly. they can take out most small heroes like faramir, damrod, or gamling. their magic is ok, but i suggest you take the witch king instead of normal ringwraiths.

Ok...... My brother has one on a horse and.... Well, as you said it's all or nothing, they either wipe out 24 warriors of minis tirith or get killed by 1. Fell beasts are awesome though. Go with 2 on Fellbeasts and the witch king on one two.
    Battle record.

Yeah, there black dart is a very useful power which is one of the best reasons to have a ringraith. And in your average game you won't play 14 turns with a ringwraith so don't worry about expending will points. Yeah and if you hav e something else to say and you just posted, edit you post no point posting again.
In the end there is only war.

the thing about ringwraiths is that they can be the key to killing the uber hard good heroes. but sometimes they aren't nessessary, and often die before they work.

goes down to how good you get with them, and whether you want them to be a usual feature in your army.

Yeah, this is excellent! TY Angel of Rust!

well i just want the ringwraiths. i dont want anything else in my army. Wouldnt they get "stomped" if they went up against actual armies?
