The aim here is to make a GT-compliant force, preferrably on a budget (my gosh Haradrim Raiders are expensive) so while it's only 500 points, instead of 600, it will only have 33% missile troops, at least 1 hero, and no more than 50 models. I'm not planning on taking this force to the GT, however.
2 Hasharii - 180 points
1 Haradrim Chieftain
- Hand Weapon
Total: 55 points
13 Haradrim Warriors
Total: 78 points
20 Haradrim Warriors
Total: 100 points
14 Haradrim Warriors
Total: 84 points
Overall: 497 points
Ranged Troops: 15 (30%)
I know that the raiders are expensive, but you need some in this list. You should do a couple of things to it:
- Get some raiders - you don't want to be trampled by enemy cavalry
- Take the chieftain off the horse. The rest of the army can't keep up
- Maybe drop a hasharin. At close range, they can die easily from missiles - though I do like them very much!
- Hire some easterlings or orcs. You need some more variety, haradrim on their own aren't very strong. How about kataphracts?
So that's what I think. With some easterlings your force would be much more stronger and solid. Anyway, the price of the raiders put me off haradrim altogether - till they're out in plastic, I'll stick with easterlings. But a good first list!
"Well... that hurt" - Vampire Jon Skellan (Mannfred's right hand man) after being beaten up, falling down an underground waterfall and being impaled by a stalactite.
lol... but the easterling cavalry are metal :ninja:Originally Posted by Wolfhowl
