Hey im kinda "new" to Tomb Kings and im building up my army atm. Got some stuff already but they dont fit too good together. But please give me some advice of whats the best option for me with the figures i got atm. i want to collect a 1000-1500 poitns army. Most likely 1000 points since thats what we normally using in freindly cups.

01x Liche Priest Mounted
01x Tomb King in Chariot
01x Bone Giant
01x Screaming Skull Catapult
06x Skeleton Horsemen with bows.
16x Skeleton Warriors with sheild and spears.
16x Skeleton Warriors with ??(not glued yet)
10x Tomb Guard with ?? (not glued yet)
03x Skeleton Chariots
Please Give me some advice what may be the best setup. Thanks
I think the general opinion on here is that people only comment on lists, not create them for people, so you may not get many replies. I dont mind however, happy to give advice.
Starting by looking at what you have and what will actually be useful/essential:
Screaming Skull Catapult. This, in my opinion, is a must. With the upggrade, thats 110pts right there, and your rare slot filled.
32 Skellie warriors. The guy with spears, replace their weapons with hand weapons. Add 3 more warriors for a unit of 19 with HW/S and Light Armour. The Prince will go here. Add command if you want to, possibly Full Command.
Personally i prefer to go cheap and take purely bow skellies, but thats just me. Use 10 or 12 of the other skellies you have as a Bow skellie unit. No command here though
Include the Scarab swarm you have, great cheap unit for ICFB.
Thats 300pts or so in core, a total of about 430 so far i think.
Get those chariots in. No command or anything, just the 3 chariots. (look at getting atleast one Scorp)
Which leaves a nice chunk for Characters, the most vital units in the army.
Tomb Prince, on foot. Weapons etc are up to you, my personal combo favourite is Collar of Shapeshand Great Weapon.
Hierophant Liche Priest, give him the Cloak of the Dunes, and possibly the Hieratic Jar too for a key magic boost.
As for the other priest, its fine to take him as standard, although a steed and the Staff of Ravening may be good for him.
That should bring your total to about 950. Definitely look at getting a Scorpion. to bring it up to 1K. When you get there, feel free to let me know and ill be happy to advise how to expand if you want to go higher.

This may sound stupid and noobish, but as said im kinda new to TK - Why is it better to use HW+S that Spear+S?
Anyways thanks for the good advice, helpd me alot, and im getting a scorpion asap
1st off, Spear+shield is more expensive. Second, in Combat, with HW/S your armour save is 1 better.
You may get more attacks with spears... but seriously, look at the statline of a Skellie... Swarms have better WS dammit! lol basically skellies cany hurt much, except zombies maybe, but they never stay down for long.
Skellies are there for (generally) static Combat Res (3 ranks, banner, outnum.) Let the other stuff in the army do the killing, thats what its there for.
