Next week I am participating in a 1200pt tournement. I am still kinda new to tomb kings. I would like you guys to critique my army. keep in mind this should be an army good against all kinds of armies and is a competative army too.
prince, collar of shapesh, sword of battle- 149
liche priest- cloak of dunes- 135
liche- steed- 123
20 warriors- handweapon shield, full comand-186
12 archers- 96
19 tomb gaurd- full comand, banner of undying legion- 283
4 chariots- banner bearer- 140
Id say keep the Lord with just a basic GW, or if you like, then a Sword of Might for a bit of extra Str and magical attacks, also keeping your Init.
The Hiero is fine. The second priest doesnt necessarily need a horse but if you want if for extra momement then thats fine. Remember the only spell he needs Line of Sight for is the magic missile.
Depending on what you think the response is from the SSC thread, maybe try and get one of those in. In which case maybe try and play at 1250pts.
Also id recommend getting a single Scarab Swarm, to assist the Scorp in ICFB.
For extra points, drop the standard from the Chariot unit. Also they should be fine just as a unit of 3, also meaning you dont have to buy an extra box of them.
Drop 2 skellies from the bowmen if you need a few extra points anywhere.
the problem is that i dont have a SSC. I havent bought one yet, I posted that other topic to see if i should get one. also i have enought chariots for up to 6, so i dont have to worry about another box.
Ok cool. Just take any of the other advice you think may be helpful then. Definitely look at getting an SSC next though, and practise range guessing
