EDIT: Some points costs have been removed due to GW Copyright. -Spector
This is an army list I've put together after looking at a number of other recently-posted lists hanging around (this means LOTHAR-HEX's mostly). Will be taking it to the Yorkshire Open tournament in the UK around February. The only major changes to my current army (which despite it doing okay, I'm not overly happy with) is removing 2 units of bowmen and a unit of heavy cavalry, and replacing them with another 2nd chariot unit and the Tomb Guard.
I'm thinking to add one more TG with the 14 points left over. Although it looks pretty solid to me; any suggestions on how to improve it?
Tomb King (236 Pts)
---Armor of the Ages, Collar of Shapesh
Liche Priest (160 Pts)
---Hieratic Jar, Cloak of the Dunes
Liche Priest (140 Pts)
Liche Priest (140 Pts)
20x Skeleton Warriors (250 Pts)
---Shield & Light Armour, Full Command
---Banner of the Undying Legion
20x Tomb Guard (310 Pts)
---Icon of Rakaph
2x Tomb Scorpions
2x Screaming Skull Catapults
---Skulls of the Foe
Total Pts: 1986

First things first dude, get some of those points costs removed.
There isnt really a lot i have to say to be honest, youve done your homework, list scanning on the forums etc, and this looks pretty solid.
Just 1 more point and id say give the King Vambraces, but alas i cant see where to get that from, so i think one final TG will be your best bet.
Looks pretty good. Very similar to lists that I draw up (although I never do the dual SSCs) Here's the only thing I would suggest from my experience:
Putting armor on a King or Prince is a bit of a wonky decision point. Most of the time, the character will be leading a skeleton or TG unit, and when the unit reaches combat, a wise opponent will do one of two things:
1. The enemy will ignore the character and put all his attacks into the unit he's leading in an effort to win combat through combat resolution and effect crumble. This is usually the case with S3 or S4 basic troop units that cannot reliably wound the high tougness King/Prince.
2. The enemy will go straight for the character with his high strength attacks that can reliably wound him and negate his armor save. This usually happens when fighting Trolls or equivalents (Krox, Ushabti) or high strenght enemy dueling characters (Chaos/Orc/Vampire Lords, etc)
-- (note: Maybe I can coin a new phrase of TEQ - Troll or Equivalent, kinda how the 40K players use MEQ and GEQ for marine/guardsman or equivalent)
Either way, the enemy is likely negating your armor save and extra wound afforded by the Armor of the Ages either by going through it or ignoring it.
It's my opinion that you're better off spending points on a ward save and a magic weapon that'll make the character be able to either duel better (DoE, Flail of Skulls), or kill more enemy RiF (Crook and Flail of Radiance, Sword of Battle).
I see your point MobiusPrime, but your suggestions have given me a slightly different idea: swap in a single Tomb Swarm for the armour. Hmm..
The only reason to take AoA is for the extra wound, no TK general really takes it for the save. Thats why the Collar is so good, it cant be negated or modified.
On the other hand, a Swarm may be handy for assisting the Scorps. Your call
