Hey guys, I've been playing a few games at low point levels constructing various army builds and decided on my first official playing list. At 1500 points (which I consider quite restricted for a Tomb Kings army as far as being able to tap into the army's full potential) I'm hoping to learn and familiarize myself with Tomb Kings tactics before moving on to larger scale battles. This list is official, I have all models in my possession and am curently painting the last unit. I just want to read your opinions on how you think my army will fair in battle. Stating strengths and weaknesses of my list would be much appreciated, thanks again.
Lords & Heroes
Chariot of Fire
Sword of Might
LA, HW, S
LA, HW, S
Icon of the Sacred Eye
Screaming Skull Catapult
Skulls of the Foe
That doesn't seem to include a lot of hitting power. By 1500 points, I would think that you'd want to max out your special unit choices since those are the units that do the damage for us.
I assume that the chariots are the hammer unit for one of the skeleton units, but that leaves the other one unmatched since the scorpion should be mage/war machine hunting most games. Most people would probably recommend dropping some skeletons for another special unit. Personally, I would suggest putting one unit of archers aside for either another scorpion or a unit of carrion or put aside a unit with hand weapons aside for some ushabti.
Either way, it would give you some more hitting power, and a flexible spot filler, either by carrion/scorpion or by chariots when ushabti are running with the skeletons. Then you could bring the skeletons back in for 2000 points.
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains
Your Prince is illigal, with 55pts of Magic items. Drop the Eshield for a mundane one. Priest setup is good.
The rest is ok, although i think you could do with some tactical expansion. Id look at losing some of the bowmen and getting yourself a Scarab Swarm (help Scorp with ICF and also look at getting 3 Carrion, they can make for a nasty 1st turn charge.

First of all: Do not practice Threadomancy unless you want to become a Threadomancer Read the Forum FAQ!
Secondly: Post YOUR Lists in YOUR Threads! Just click on the "New Topic" Button and you will be fine, but make sure you're in the right Forum (Tomb Kings for general threads, Tomb Kings Army Lists for Army Lists of yours)
//Nagash, the Necromancer who hates Threadomancy
oops i didnt really know these forum things were so complicated i'll make my own thread or is that ok if i do that???
