So here is the list that I think I will be piloting tomorrow morning:
Light armor, Shield, Destroyer of Eternities, Collar of Shapesh
Liche High Priest
Neferra's Plaques of Mighty Incantations, Goldon Ankhra, Cloak of the Dunes
Shield, Great weapon, Scorpion Armor
Shield, Great weapon, Armor of the Ages, Vambraces of the Sun
Brooch of the Great Desert ,Hieratic Jar
Skeletal Steed, Staff of Ravening
24 Skeleton Archers
Standard Bearer, Champion, Banner of the Undying Legion
24 Skeleton Archers
Standard Bearer, Champion
2 x 4 Chariots
15 Skeleton Heavy Horsemen
Standard Bearer, Champion, War Banner
3 Tomb Swarm
24 Tomb Guard
Standard Bearer, Champion, Icon of Rakaph
3 Tomb Scorpion
3 x Screaming Skull Catapult
Skulls of the Foe
Hopefully fire away, reform archer blocks prior to enemy engagement. Counter charge with chariots, using the heavy horses solely as a block of mobile infantry.
Not a bad list, the suggestions I would make would be to:
- Drop one of the Tomb Princes for an Icon Bearer. Give him Armor of Ages and Vambraces of the Sun.
- I'd put your other Prince in a chariot with a flail, Chariots of Fire, and the Golden Eye of Rah-Nutt. Gives you some a mobile hard hitter.
- I'd find a way to fit a unit of 4 Ushabti in.
- Swap out a SSC for the Casket.
Scorpion armour is actually an awful item. Almost 50pitnts for something which essentially means youre looking to loose combat...
No Music? Get it into the Cav, Skellies and TG.
I do not agree with musicians, unless I have extra points.
All in all the day went pretty well, I placed second, I only played horribly the first game, but was two draws, and a major victory. I played three High Elves...gah...
I did wish I had a chariot punch character, and I have mixed feelings about not having a casket, but the SSC's did do a lot of work today.
