Welcome to Librarium Online!
Here is my headless list. This is the situation. My young kid has been begging me to paint his army for almost a year. Finally, after twittering around with me and wife's armies for a long time, we have finally broken down and painted his army. This list is for a family game of me and my son against my wife playing Daemons or Woodies against us. This list is made up of all the units we have painted and own. It is headless because I have some primed heros and lords yet and need advice about selection of them. Thanks!
HEROES - empty
3X Chariots, Standard
3x Chariots, Standard
3x Chariots, Standard (QUESTION - standards seem pretty, well, standard for CR - i am used to playing small units and point denial - is is wise to have this standard?)
5x Light horsemen, Muso
5x Heavy horsemen (QUESTION - should i make these light instead??
20x skeleton warriors, light armor, Full command
10x skeleton archers
10x Tombguard, Full command
These are the models I have:
- Khalida sorceress
- Settra in 4x horse chariot
- Std bearer
- Tomb king on foot x2
- ---do not have liche priest foot/mounted
TOTAL = 1454
This army will go against 2k lists of Daemons with Keeper of Secrets, 2 Treeman woodies, Teclis and dragon mage high elfs, and other cheese. Would it be too beardy to bear to use Settra or Khalida in 2k game?
i am still trying to educate myself about this army so i apologize if i seem ignorant about it because i am.
Please tell me what is the best lord/hero combo for this and what unit()s i should get rid of or are expendable. Thanks!

Im about to write a piece on Chariots' Standards elsewhere, for now ill summarise:
- 3 Chariots alone, no standard
- 3 Chars + Character, add Std (+ magic std if poss)
- 4 Chars, add Std.
Right, Character selection. I think if youre facing the cheese that you suggest, then you should be allowed to take Settra in a 2K game, use him as 1 Lord choice (and half his pts costs so he fits in with the other 7th ed Charactes this bits a joke... maybe... )
Make the Heavy Cav into Light yes. Drop the Skellie warriors and bowmen, and also lose the TG, 10 wont be much use tbh.
And an Ushabti (or proxy if you're willing too)
Out of interest, how do you hope to play with no Hierophant? Unless you're going to use Settra (as 1 Lord choice) Answer that, then ill advise on Character selection, this could be interesting if you're using house rules...
- Just discovered unbuilt Liche Priest (mtd and on foot) - will build these this afternoon.
-Also, my kid scrounged up 35 dollars of his money and wants Bone Giant - get this or Casket of souls?
- Now he has Tomb king on foot, TK for chariot, Khalida, Settra on chariot, Liche priest mtd, Liche priest on foot.
Get rid of all of the Skeleton warriors and archers???
Add bone giant and Ushabti?
Bone Giant can be a good idea for an all out assault based army.
I say lose the Skellies as they are a bit slow compared to the rest.
As for Characters now, See if you can use Settra as 1 Lord. If not, use a King (on Chariot)
Then go for a Prince, Liche Priest with Cloak and HJar, and Mounted Priest with SoRav.
Ok Phoenix, thanks for your help. Here is the list now.
Tomb king, Chariot
Tomb Prince, Chariot, Golden Eye, Enchanted Shield
Liche Priest, Cloak of Dunes, Heiratic Jar
Liche Priest, Bone horse, Staff of Ravening
2x chariots, standard bearer, musician, TP goes here
2x chariots, standard bearer, musician, Mirage Standard, TK goes here
5x Skeleton light horsemen, muso
5x Skeleton heavy horsemen, muso
10x Skeleton archers
the chariot units have to me minimum size 3 before a character goes in.
Painting: 20 quarrelers
Hondor, regarding the chariot unit size of 3 - under the profile/cost of the TK and TP I already paid for the chariots -- so the units WILL have 3 chariots -- Do you mean that the chariot units with the Heroes must have FOUR chariots?!?!
yes. the units has to have 3. then the prince on one = 4th
Painting: 20 quarrelers
