My tomb kings and I are going for a ride through the forests of the VC, brets/ogres and the lizardmen for a 2v2 battle. the partners are randomised for this game so who knows what army i will be allied with. I have 1230 pts out of 1250 with this list and have questions of whether or not i should give or take a few models for more scorps or get rid of scorps for more troops. any other general comments would be greatly appreciated.
Tomb Prince(general) 152pts
Flail, collar of shapesh
Liche Priest (hierophant) 142pts
Cloak of dunes,dispell scroll
Liche Priest 158pts
skeletal steed,golden Ankhra
24 Skeleton Warriors
MUS,CHP,STD,light armor,spears 217pts
5 light horsemen
1 tomb scorpion (???)
1 Screaming skull catapult
My main strat for this army is to place the hierophant between or behind the ssc and bowmen, so he can use incantations of smiting or summoning on these 2 units, then defend himself with cloak of dunes. Stick the other liche priest in the unit of 5 skeletal horsemen so he may cast the incantation of righteous smiting on the skeletal.. (is it horsemen bowmen, or bowmen horsemen? or horsemen with bows??) These horsemen would be a run and shoot method on smaller or units or units that could be drawn in to a flanking by chariots or warriors. I would put the tomb princ in the skeletal warrior unit for MWBD. This would leave me with alot of failed rolls with shooting, but i should get enough in with my incantations. The scorps could be helpful against VC casters or warmachines.

Lose the GA from the Priest, too expensive, and a bit of a waste on him anyway. If you want it, give it to the Prince, although the Collar is fine for now. Upgrade his Flail to a Great weapon, as being with the skellies, he will probably be in prolonged combat. Move the Dscroll to the Priest, and give the Hierophant the Hieratic jar.
Upgrade the SSC.
See HERE (Common points made when commenting on lists) for my thoughts on Skellies. Also see there for extended points of the Golden Ankhra.
Maybe lose the Light Cav for a unit of Carrion, and depending on what you do with the first skellie unit, you may be able to afford a single swarm too.
right now i dont have the carrion models, but im sure they would fly much better than the light horsemen. but i am thinking of replacing light horsemen with 2 scorps, upgrade the SSC and maybe some swarms. i play skaven so i know what those swarms can do in combat.
