    2250 Lahmia list

After reading the Nagash book from the Times of Legends series I decided to try out something I have wanted to do for a while but couldn't justify fluff wise. I wanted to include blackpowder weapons, in the form of Dogs of War cannons, Leadbelchers, etc. But Lahmia's "Dragon Warriors", elite troops armed with weapons from Cathay gave me a renewed inspiration.

Tomb King w/Chariot, Flail of Skulls, Golden Eye of Rah-nut, Chariot of Fire
Tomb Prince w/Chariot, Blade of Setep
Liche Priest w/Collar of Shapesh, Cloak of the Dunes (Hierophant)
Liche Priest w/Skeletal Steed, Dispel Scroll x2
Chariots x4 w/Standard Bearer, Icon of the Sacred Eye
    Chariots x4
    Tomb Swarms x2
Tomb Guard x21 w/ Champion, Standard Bearer, Banner of the Undying Legion
    Lead Belchers x4 w/Bellower
    Lead Belchers x4 w/Bellower
    Tomb Scorpion
    Tomb Scorpion

I plan on bringing this to a Tourney in the next couple weeks. This list is to have a little fun with the army and to perhaps catch a few of my opponents off guard. The plan is to bunker my Hierophant with the Tomb Guard, move the scroll caddy up behind the chariots and protect the flanks with the Lead Belchers. Basically I want to hit hard, fast and use the Tomb Guard to lure in foes trying to go for the Hierophant.

    Any thoughts or constructive comments?

I swear i posted a reply on this list this morning.. hmm, nvm, here we go (again?):

Drop the Collar from the Hiero. He will be in he TG to start, and flying solo later, so itll be practically useless without seriously restricting his potential.

Shield and LA for both King and Prince. Maybe look at dropping the 2 Scrolls for the SoRav instead.

Drop the Kings Chariot unit down to 3 (5 wide total is just a bit too much for easy manoeuvring) Add a banner to the other unit too (and possibly music to each if you have the pts spare)

    Add Music to the TG.

Unsure about the units of 4 Ogres, from experience facing them their shooting isn't that reliable. Bulls with 2HWs may be a better option.

Putting the collar on a character with a cloak defeats the purpose. You will have to sacrifice the mobility to keep the collar active. Move the Collar the the King instead. He could use a jar instead.

At S4, a blade of Step is very average as far as effectivity goes. A simple flail would do the trick a low cost, and help you wound more efficiently.

Prince and king should have shields and light armour to extra portection, they will be soaking alot of fire.

With the massive speed you field, I would trade in the tomb guard. Some light horsemen and a mount priest, some carrion would complement your striking power. the tombguard will fall behind early on, and likely ignored untill late game.

The increased movement will surely help, and they can act as your can openers. Nothing like S6 attacks that strike on initiative. The weaponskill is also VERY appealing

The Ushabti units could use the 4th member more than the Ogres tbh, maybe consider a switch around there.
