This is a list i comprised after week1 of our mighty empires tourney.
the first week, i faced a HE shooting army, Goblins, and a WoC cav army with nurgleness.
HE shooting completely decimated me with overwhelming shooting... so my next gamei pulled out a shooting army... goblins did not like it as only 5 goblins ever made base to base with anything of mine.(2x 10 archers, 1x 20 archers, 1x 15 skellies with prince in unit. preist on casket and a catapult... Pew Pew) but my last game i played a normal composition against woc and we had a close tightknit almost draw game, but he won overall.
Afterwards i started deep delving into my army book and gots me a new idea of what units to use that i normally don't. Cav baby! here's the outcome of that for just 1k empires.
197 ( G ) Tomb Prince
+Golden Eye of Rahnutt
+Vambraces of the Sun
160 ( H ) Liche Preist
135 ( BSB ) Icon Bearer
+Banner of the Hidden Dead
100 SKeleton warriors x10
80 Skeleton Archers x10
188 Skeleton Heavy Cavalry x10
140 Chariots x3
It's fast paced, good CR, and good at causing flanks in the test game i played with my goblin friend. I am going to be burying the 10 warriors with the banner every game likely and dropping them as close to War Machines as possible with my IB first turn and let them charge the machines to get them out of the way for the rest of the game.
the two armies i am sure i will be facing soon, is a LM or Empire army. so either way i can use the banner to cause rear charge assists

Is it really worth having just 10 archers? i cant imagine they will do alot of good, they give about 4 hits 2 wounds maybe one of which is saved, one wound per turn realistically?
Why not ditch the archers and make another unit of 3 chariots, taking one from your princes group to give you 2 units of 3 chariots each?
Anyway, onto your list:
Prince: Cool. Maybe add a Flail?
Priest: Not a standard Hiero build, but a standard LP build none the less. Just be sure to watch he LoS compared to the enemies.
IB: Interesting choice. Bot Hidden Dead is a piece of overpriced rubbish imo... only good use ive found for it is in a comedy list i designed (ask if interested lol)
10 HW/S skellies wont do much... make them 20, add music, or just make them bowmen and combine the other unit onto them.
Again,5 Heavy Cav is a bit too small for a unit. You want 12 to make them worthwhile, with FC and a magic banner. Otherwise, switch out for Light.
Maybe add a magic banner to the Chariots? Make them a nice unit for the Prince to join. BotUL is always good, especially considering the lack of a second Priest.
yeah Phoenix that was a 1k list the hero characters were almost BONE bare of items cept the preists CotD. and it worked amazingly. would have been better if i hadnt misfired and blew up my catapult during my first magic phase....
Phoenix: I see what your saying with the unit sizes definately. but I have yet to defeat either of these people and in low point games like this it is tough to build a solid army. But i won't b playing them til next weekend. but i just got a new digital camera and i plan on posting a Battle report or somfin on how my army list works out.
fuzzy: If i had anymore chariots i would be running every last one of them. but unfortunately i only 3 and a borrowed single to utilize. i love chariots to death and would havea unit with a IB in chariot and another iwth a prince in chariot if i had the wheels . i also have to get some carrion... ><
I have read over many of the items and such and many things in a normal strategy wouldn't make since for normal 2k+ games for TK where they generally shine. but at low points where he have a apparent handicap i'm trying to find things to even the odds in thier own way that normally i wouldn't touch
I'm sure it's going to either amaze me or dissapoint me. but one thing i am set on in this build IS using the IB with Hidden Dead. other things i am looking over currently. like my princes current 3+. the preist might go back to being a CotD preist with a Jar, Scroll, or Brooch. the cav in my army are... a long shot but the cav supply a cover unit for the IB to be with so he make his move forward and be able to launch the 10man skellies into machines and rear flanks. I'm sure the chariots are going to be the first concern of my enemy in such low points as they are destructive, and i have thought of upping them to either a Mirage Standard or BotUL. but losing those points out of something else is where i falter with losing #s in my army. as the empire and lm guys still have me in numbers usually so im going for CR in general.
did some changes to the list, took out the light cav and added 5 more heavy cav, took my preist off the mount, and changed out the staff for a CotD and a Scroll. this should provide a little more effective hits on my CR an still supply enough strategic uses of my chariots and heavy cav with the preist being my pinball for regens and such.
