Here is my 2000pts army that i'm gonna use against Warriors of chaos.
I think my opponen has a Chaos lord and 2 mages or Lord mage, hero mage and exalted hero. And possibly giants. My list:
Destroyer of eternities, Collar of shapesh
Cloak of dunes, Hieratic jar
Steed, Staff of ravening
Casket of souls, 2x dispel scroll
Shields, Light armours, Full command, Banner of the unduying legion
5 light cavalry
2x 3 ushabti
Screaming skull catapult
If you can find some way of cutting the list down to fit in another Ushabti in each unit it would be good, i think you will find that the two groups of 3 of them may underperform.
You could drop 5 skellies including the champ, both the scrolls and the jar and youcanfit in another 2 Shabs, makes it 1999 points. You probably wont need the jar as your magic phase is really strong as it is with he casket eating all his dispell dice. And your gonna have a fair amount of dispell power as well, especially with the caskets -1 to casting value
As above, 4 Ushabti per unit would be nice... but very costly. If you could get both units stuck in to the same combat they should come out on top.
Maybe drop a Scroll to upgrade the SSC.
I think upgrading the catapult would be wasting points because Warriors of chaos can reroll failed panic tests... But i do like the sound of 4 ushabti per unit.
I'm not taking those scrolls away because i really dont like those chaos spells.
I think I could take the cascet and staff of ravening away for more ushabti. Do you think that could work?
Keep the Casket. Unless you get a second SSC, which may be more damaging than a Casket against the high Armour and good Ld.
