This is a very balanced list (for TK) and I think that it would do really well in a tourney I would now like to hear what you think about it; Some changes to be done? Some tactical thoughts that may help me (even though I have based this list on tactical pre-work)? Maybe you have thought of something that I haven't
I will appreciate all and every post(s); improvements, questions, discussions and so forth
Ushabati and Tomb gaurd take up a lot of points. Why not to big blocks of skellies with bows? Then you could also get yourself another scorpion.
I personally perfer the staff of ravening to Enkhil's Kanopi. I just find it more usefull unless you're going up against a whole bunch of Ogers.
Oh, and how did you get your army comp number?
overall, looks pretty good.
I am playing an alround-list that could win some tournaments... My dispel is not the great side of the army, and so, I need to be sure that I will not be affected by RIP at ANY costs. I just don't need that additional level 4 bound spell to replace another level 4 and a scroll, when both of them can turn the tides of battle
Here is a link to the new comp-system (this is a swedish coopy though, so I don't really know if it is this in other countries ) :
Thanks for the post
i have to say lately when comparing a unit of 4-5 ushabti as a choice versus a scorpion... i'm not to impressed by a scorpion. scorpions are good for two things.
character assassinations by directing all your attacks and hoping for killing blows or bad saves,
or siege destruction.
but Carrion can handle the second one just as easily on turn one not possibly turn 2-4 before the siege does more damage. but when you see a lot of things like, knights units, stegodons, and other blocks in general the scorpion will most likely be piffed due to CR if you lose the combat cause of the seperate unit seperate wounds from resolution rule. I say at least take one unit of ushabti when you can. after you get some carrion and ushabti, and likely TG in a 2250, then get a scorpion
and when it comes to skellies i say that unless its a ten wide archer block it's veritably useless cept to tarpit with 40 skellies with spears & BotUL.
this is just my opinion
I like your list but i think you could do good to possibly get in some SLH for march blocks and 360 shooting, and maybe a swarm or two in a unit to put in front or around the casket / catapult to prevent some charges cause they don't block Line of sight. just a defensive tactic suggestion.
i probably would know exactly what you meant if i had played with or own any carrion. i guess i just use the SLH as my core choice substitute. swarms are just point fillers usually for me that sit around my war machines or ranomdly get buried if my opponent has war machines. but when i do play these i also am playing 2-4 scorpions.
haha, i love how the Icon of Rulership has started popping up in lists since i mentioned it
Overall looks good. personally ive never managed to et 5 Carrion to do their job (one always dies too early) but if it works for you thats cool
aren't the carrion 2 us a piece? so it wold only take 3 to do stuffs.
They got T4 and W2 each, and so, they will not die "easily". If one of them die, I just fly with my Hiero to a safe place where I can heal them.
According the Icon of Rulership: I have made use of it since at least the past two years, Phoenix Hehe
