Obviously the first thing is how to kit out my tomb prince for his chariot duties. I want a flail for the +1 strength. But I just couldn't decide to go for a magic one or save those points for armor? What do you all think. After that i will have a few more points to juggle with. I am not sure about my 2 blocks of 20 archers. Will I find it hard to stretch out 40 archers? They could be changed to shields light armor or spears with some command to round out my pts but i don't know if that will make my army better.
Those are the two biggest questions and luckily i have some leeway in points to answer them.
Also what do you think of the army, don't hold back. All comments are welcome.
I'm a fan of Bowmen Add Music, and possibly Standard, to both units to improve their combat potential. Avoid Spear skellies, always, but some people do like HW+S w/ LA.
You have costed your 5 Light Cav at 5pts too many.
For your Prince, id advise going with an offensive build. The idea is that he run in, hist hard and comes out the other side all in one turn. FoSkulls is nice, but consider other options too (SoMight, E.Shield, Vambraces, etc. Keep it cheap, simple and effective)
i would get rid of them horsemen, you need biger numbers for them to be more effective and with your spare points get a unit of footmen or something. that is your weak point, you need some close combat core units, chariots aren't enough. but thats just me. if you have a good strategy then thats fine
also maybe add another ushabti or scorp. id go for the scorp cause two scorp are much better than one
I can honestly say this is the first time I've ever seen a 2k+ Tomb King army with no lord choice. Both the TK lords add such a tremendous amount to the operability of the army I'm very surprised you've not opted for one of them.
I don't really think sacred eye is worth taking on a chariot unit (it effectively costs you 70pts since you wouldn't otherwise have bought the standard bearer), and it would save you a lot. I would use the pts you have spare, plus any you can scrape together, to either upgrade the hierophant to a LHP (since you don't actually NEED the chariots to be core) or make the chariot prince a chariot King. The King will enhance your combat ability, slightly boost your magic phase and enable one of the skeleton units to take the banner of the undying legion.
The Liche High Priest will greatly boost your magic phase and therefore hugely increase the effectiveness of your army.
