This is my list for a tournament on Tuesday. What are it's strengths/weakness and how can it be improved?
Love from Magila
- Flexible Hierophant
- Many Heroes - Good Magic
- Casket of Souls, very good! Keep this safe to any price!!!
- Good shooting - 33 shots / turn without magic
- Good tarpit for future flank charges - TG
- All Eggs in different Baskets - good, your opponent will have to focus on different things to claim Victory
It is a very good and reliable list Play it well and it will do you well in the Tourny...
- Very immobile Army - your opponent will choose battles very easy
- Bad flanking power... A smart Tactician can overwhelm you by guarding the flanks
Good Luck to You Mate!
Looks good Something a little bit different, but should be able to bring enough to the table to do well
Well i'm back from the tourney! The results are as follows:
Vs High Elves; He took a dragon which ate my casket, but i got a killing blow off from one of the guards which killed the mage on top! Then my chariots and scorpion ate everything else. Solid victory for tomb kings.
Vs Wood Elves; The archers proved deadly, killing nearly all of his units. I was hitting skirmishers in woods and still hitting on fives haha! The casket killed the tree man. But my chariots died to war dancers and the tree mans shooting attack. Solid Victory for tomb kings.
Vs Empire; I magic charged my tomb guard + king unit into a unit of empire knights, missed all my attacks, lost combat, next turn got charged by all his units, and was brought down to about 4 guys, moved up my Heiro to Nehek back some tomb guard but only managed to get 1 back. Then the tomb kings died and my Heiro got charged by knights and died. Which then made the casket crumble, and the scorpion got splatted by a cannon. It was foolish of me to bring the heiro so close to combat and once the heiro died i lost all of my army in literally two turns. Oh well next time I will have to be more careful with the Heiro. Massacre for the Empire!
It was a fun day all in all and the casket proved to be very powerful, my enemies either held dispel dice to stop it going off, which allowed my incantations to go through, or dispelled my incantations allowing the casket to go off and kill a bunch of things. And that -1 to cast also was nice.
Untill next time fellow Pharaoh's.
Sounds like a good Tourney
The best thing with this Tourney (according to me) was that it did teach you something And of course that it seemed funny - it makes me want to play
