At a glance, it doesnt "look" like a 2K list.. it seems a bit small. And doing a quick tot-up, i make it about 1940pts, a bit short (though i may be wrong, but still worth checking) edit - actually, think i forgot the Kings chariot.. lol.

Anyway, id suggest with your King in Chariot, give his unit a Standard and Magic Banner.

Also a 4th Special choice (Scorp! ) would be nice.

Very similar to my list tbh, i just prefer to skimp on the hero equipment and run more units tbh... hence my advice above if very... persnalised to my style, so feel free to ignore me if you want hehe.

Did you have a specific magic banner in mind or should I just take one for the sake of it?

The chariot unit shouldn't need a banner, the amount of damage the King can do alone is usually enough to win the CR battle by lots.

Dropping points is an option. I could pretty easily switch the flail of skulls for a regular flail, its a nice weapon, but a little bit specialist against most opponents. A second scorpion would be nice, but the points just aren't there. I suppose in theory I could drop a Ushabti but that leaves the unit dangerously small. The other option would be to remove the carrion for a second scorp.

I had sacred eye, or BotUL, in mind mainly....

I'd suggest the Sacred Eye over Undying Legion.

I always take it on my character chariot units now. Allowing a character to hit on 2s or the otherwise crappy skeletons to hit on 3s is a pretty big deal.

I personally really like your King setup (and may very well steal it for my next match), as it allows the freedom to switch out weapons for different tactics. You can run the Flail, Crook and Flail or Spear with minimal shifting around which is something I struggle with in my lists.

My Casket Priest will almost always have the Staff of Ravening, since he always attracts the shadow-lurking filth of the Warhammer world. Why waste an incantation or a unit to destory them when a simple gesture with my staff could do the same thing?

That means that my Prince carries a Brooch of the Great Desert to give me a dispel when I really need it.

Overall, nice list imho...it looks like a lot of fun!

It ios a good one, I must admit

The problem comes when we're casting Hieratic Magic. You will not be able to use it exactly when you want it, and still be sure to cast it... Since most of the opponents nowadays spare some DDs for the Casket

If they can let the Casket through one turn, to get rid of it the next - they will do that

If you're expecting units to come close to the Casket (Tunneling, ICFB, Mining, Ambushing etc.), just have one or two Scorps that guards it They will easily be able to turn around if it is needed
