    Frindly 1000pts vs Dwarfs

    So, I've got a date with some ornery dwarfs next Friday. Other than warriors and miners, I have no idea what to expect from my opponent. I came up with a few lists, but having not played in years I'm really not sure what is most effective against a 1000 points of dwarfs.

    Here are two of the lists I came up with...

    TK1000.1
    Tomb Prince w/ GW, LA, Sh and CoS= 133
    Liche Priest w/ CotD= 135
    2 Units of Skeleton Warriorsx20 w/Full Command, LA, HW, and Bow= 205 ea
    Tomb Scorpion= 85
    Carrionx5= 120
    Screaming Skull Catapult w/Skulls of the Foe= 110
    Total = 993

    TK1000.3
    Tomb Prince w/ GW, Sh and AotA= 141
    Liche Priest w/ CotD= 135
    Liche Priest on Steed= 123
    Skeleton Warriorsx20 w/ HW and Bow= 160
    Skeleton Light Horsemenx6 w/HW; Bow= 84
    Chariotsx4= 160
    Tomb Scorpion= 85
    Screaming Skull Catapult w/Skulls of the Foe= 110
    Total= 998

    Please feel free to critique as you please.

    I'm going to let somebody more experienced with TK give you tips here. Dorfs are tough as nails and sealed up in solid armor. I don't know if you can count on basic skellies doing anything but handing their banners over to them. I'm not sure you can even count on chariots to break basic dorf warriors.

    personally i like the second list (that is a mistype on your chariots yes? your taking 4 not 12?) The second list is similar to mine but i take collar of shapesh on my prince instead of aromour of ages, i only take 3 chariots and i take staff of ravening on my priest on steed to do some pewpew and draw dice. Either way i prefer your second list personally, although i'd maybe swap your light horsemen for some swarms or something so you can get his artillery shut down.

    You're right, Outbreak

    List two is well suited for going up against Dwarfs, and the changes that Outbreak suggested are good ones You just need to make use of your extra movement to take one ONE UNIT AT A TIME!!!

    I really appreciate all of the comments- unfortunately the rules have changed.

    My generals inform me that a Warrior of Chaos army has requested our assistance with a 2000pt army of "Savage Zulus" (Zulu models using the Savage Orcs rules).

    Can I use the same advice you've already given?

    If they are using savage orcs then yeah, as far as I know the same rules apply. Your army while likely fare a little better as they are a bit easier to scare and fight.
