My idea is to stick the tomb King in with Tomb Guard and have a big block o doom...Considering changing the Banner for the Tomb Guard to the Undying banner. The idea behind the prince/chariots is to race around on the flanks targeting weaker units and hopefully beating them in combat and causing them to break much easier with his weapon. Regular opponents for this list would be skaven, ogres, lizards and dwarfs...
not too bad a list. I'm not to sure on your heros set ups though. I'd tool the king up more for killing (destoryer of eternities!) and i'd tool your prince up abit more killing orientated. If your priests are both on foot i'd give your heirophant cloak of the dunes so he can fly around. I'd give your other priest staff of ravening to draw out dd dice or maybe kill some weak infantry. Personally i would also join your archers into one solid block so it's easy to smite them but that's just a personal taste (i also prefer to be able to reform them to 20 strong so they can still hold and break units through CR). I'd also try to find points to upgrade your SSc with skulls.
Everything outbreak said was spot on.
The Blade of Mourning is one of those items that looks great on paper but sucks in practice. A plain old great weapon is often the weapon of choice for a prince but the flail of skulls is also super nice if you have the points for it.
I would definately merge the two archer blocks into one unit as Outbreak suggests. BotUL would be great on this unit.
Skulls of the foe is almost always worth the points. Against Skaven and all those big, low LD units it's perfect (just be ready for his ICFB units).
Because Sun Tzu would play Tomb Kings...
Looks like a pretty good list to me too. Should be upset against most of your regular opponents.
Skaven could be a little bit of trouble. They have tunneling units like our scorpions and swarms. Their warp lightning cannons do not need line of sight and hit everything under their line of fire, so they can target your heiro even if he's hiding behind your units. Jezzails also have str 6 and have a 36 in range. They also have a teleport spell and can sends assassins behind your line to go after your heiro.
if your enemy has tunneling units, i like to use either a scorpion or tomb swarms deployed behind my line where i think they will strike (my ssc and heiro usually stick close). I've had my scorp hold up ambushing beast herds and the like for the entire game, haven't tryed using swarms in this way but they would hopefully hold for abit until you can spin round and help out if needed
To keep Tomb Swarms behind the lines is a very good option This will grant you the ability to absorb charges, but still be able to inflict some serious damage with the Casket due to their small sizes
