Default Noob TK player 2500 list needs some help

hey i started with tomb kings a while ago but didnt really do anything for with them for months after i got the book. i made this list a little while ago and im using it to decide what i want in my 2000pt list so here it is:

Characters

Tomb king
- DoE
- Cos
265pts

Liche Priest (hiero)
- CotD
- Neferra's Plaques of Mighty Incantations
165pts

Liche Priest
- skeletal steed
- Hieratic jar
148pts

Tomb Prince
- Chariot
- LA
- CoF
- Enchanted shield
- Talisman of Protection
197pts

Core

20 skeletal bowmen
- LA
180pts

20 skeletal bowmen
- LA
180pts

20 skeletal bowmen
- LA
180pts

5 Chariots
- Standard
- Banner of the Undying Legion
245pts

Special

20 tomb guard
- FC
- Icon of Rakaph
310pts

4 Ushabti
260pts

Tomb Scorpion
85pts

Tomb Scorpion
85pts

Rare

SSC
- skulls of the foe
110pts

SSC
- skulls of the foe
110pts

Total pts: 2520

I will put the tomb king in the tomb guard unit, and the prince in the chariot unit. the hiero will go in one of the catapault units and the other liche will hang around in the middle moving where i need him. i will put the 3 archer units in 2 ranks leaving small gaps in between where i will put the catapaults just a bit farther back and more central. the chariots will go on one flank while the ushabti go on the other. the tob guard will deploy in the middle bhind thearchers to move in and support the army where ever i need them. the scorps will ICFB to take out enemy warmachines and roaming characters or just to march block my oponents army. Now i noticed that when i added up the points i was just over the limit so any ideas on where i could take off some points? Also if my army needs something or has a flaw please tell me.

Wow.

For someone who describes himself as a noob, that's a really nice list mate. Kudos.

It's always nice to see a decent 2500+ pt list because I'm a basically a greedy old fart who likes to take everything. -LOL

The only real changes I would suggest are to drop the LA on the archers (this is a waste of 60 pts to be honest because it will invariably be negated by the high strength of most things you will face and even if it isn't then a save on a 6 is still only a shot in the dark).

If you also split the big chariot unit into two groups of three (one will be of four when joined by the prince -keep the BotUL in this unit), these two units will be much more effective because the large base size of chariots means you will typically only get 3 or 4 into base to base contact for meelee anyway.

And that, coincidentally, will also leave you at exactly 2500pts.

One caveat: You may find yourself feeling a bit overwhelmed by magic heavy lists from time to time. If you find that is the case then you might like to consider swapping an SSC for the casket of souls in future, but I would expect you to do very well with this list once you get a few games under your belt.

To bring it down to 2k I would drop the Ushabti and two of the archer blocks (saving 580 pts).

I would use the remaining 80pts on a unit of 3 carrion, music for the remaining archers and LA for the king.
