In my opinion the TK is wasted in the bowmen unit. This guy is a hard hitting smasher! If you insist on the DoE, give you hiero a horse and give this guy the CoD. Otherwise I would put him on a chariot with the spear of Antarhak for 10pts more.

A good character, though I personally would swap the Chariot of Fire for the Eye of Rahnutt because you really do need to protect the chariot part of the model as that will take 2/3 of the hits against the model and only has 5+ save and T4

Drop the mirage standard in place of Sacred eye or cursing word. This unit has the benefit of "my will be done" and so will be quickest into the enemy lines and really should spend a max of 1 turn in the firing line. If you take sacred eye you get +1 to hit which at the same cost will be useful seeing as each chariot has 4 attacks. Cursing word will help you take out heavy cavalry as it allows no save on up to 4 models because of the size of the base.

Drop a chariot; add a standard and Sacred Eye; and put lord on chariot in here if you going for that option, otherwise great

I would agree. If you can tighten up anywhere I would take some heavy cavalry for some attrition warfare.

Note that I have been really critical so as to help you not to be mean = )

Also, though magically a LHP would be a really good idea, you couldn't have the chariot idea because chariots would be special which you couldn't fit in and you wouldn't have enough core.

My 2k list is very similar to this though I do sometimes take an SoR priest over the TP.

Hmmm. Interesting suggestion with the standard of the cursing word. It'd definitely save some points, and could be useful against hard targets.

So, does your comment on the skull catapult imply I should drop the skulls of the foe?
