Just come back to GW so not played in a while, wanted to redo my TK army cos they were awful before All advice welcomed, thanks.
I play High Elves, Tomb Kings and Ogres in fantasy and Marines, Eldar, Tau and Nids 40k. Also have a good knowledge of other armies in both games and always willing to help so if anyone needs help with them just message me.
+1 US Icon of rulership is better for the rank breaking on the Tomb prince. If you’re putting him in the unit of chariots then you can work without it, I just like the TP having US 5 for an extra easy-to-maneuver dude who breaks ranks.
Get rid of the TP's spear and give him a flail, str 6 in first round of combat or str 5 with the great weapon. The Spear is str 5 on the charge only
Just leave the skels with bows instead of the HW/Shields. They rarely get armor saves and your opponent will forget they have bows when there blocked up.
Light horsemen are worthless put something else (2 tomb swarms are good) or you can do two units of 25 skel wars with bows (if you knock down the other unit -30 for the armor removal -5 dudes -40 points and -96 points for the light horses should put you close to another unit of 25 which is 220 points with champ and standard) Even two units of 20 in a 1500 point game will work well.
Take the banner off of the chariots there easy targets for something with str 7 and you'll lose them all in one turn (which is 280 points to your opponent, 180 for the unit +100 for the standard, vs 120 points with out)
Tomb scorp's rule
4 Ushabti are better than 3 but I don’t know where you’re going to get the points (if you can find them then take 4) 3 can get the work done
SSC's are great don't be afraid to take off skulls of the foe for some extra points, all the good targets are immune to psychology, that being said I normally do leave SoftheF on it because when you do play someone who’s rolling panic on ld 7 it decimates them.
okay, I'd say... take out the ushabti since it's a low game and use another scorp. They're great character killers for 85 pts, so that should give you more flexability. Or if you fear war machines use carrion for the first turn 40' charge (incantation assisted of course). As for the light horsemen, knock 'em down to 5 to stick liche on steed with them, so you can get the 'look out, sir', just in case. archers would help you out as well as free up 1pt/model if you change your normal skele unit to them. You get to shoot twice if a liche priest gets it off. Plus don't forget to heal them if things start to go south, and we always hit on 5+ no matter what. It's a low point game, so your chariot on fire should do very well, but I'd use a flail as kentastic said. You don't have a heiratic jar, which is something I'd work in if you could. Maybe take away the dispell scroll for it, and then take away eye of rah-nutt for a brooch. The extra spell after they use their dispell dice will go through and will help make your plans more reliable. If you take out war machines with carrion/scorps and/or kill their mages if they have any, then you should be set to sit back and harass with arrows and a catapult, as well as your staff of ravening. They'll have to come to you, fun times. Good luck.
