Been waiting 3 years for this book, so excited to try out my first list, lemme know what you think
Tomb King, Destroyer of Eternities, Enchanted Shield
Lich High Priest, Level 4, Cloak of Dunes, Talisman of Preservation
Prince, Blade of Antarhak, Shield, Chariot
Necrotect, Armour of Silvered Steed
Skeleton Warriors X 50, Musician, Standard
Skeleton Archers X 20
Skeleton Archers X 20(would it be better to combine these units?)
Chariots X 3
Tomb Guard X 33, Musician, Standard, Standard of Undying Legion
Necropolis Knights X 3, Entombed Beneath
Necrosphinx, Envenomed Sting
Casket of Souls
Total = 2500
King and Necrotect go into the Tomb Guard unit, will most likely start the LHP in the unit as well. I'm not overly sure halberds are worth the upgrade on these guys since they are already killing blow anyway, and thats what you are looking for.
I like your list, and am actually looking at running something VERY similar to yours. However I think your Skeleton Warrior horde needs a king or prince in it to benifit from the WS. IMO the best fit for this would be the Prince. I am also getting the feeling that the archers are kinda not worth the points now. Maybe drop one unit for a little priest to help with the skeleton / guard beats.
I wouldn't combine the bowmen units, put the liches in them. Envenomed sting is worthless...anything that the sphinx's natural strength won't deal with will go down to the KB. I'd echo the sentiment that the prince's WS5 is urgently needed by the melee skelly unit, and at the same time, unless the chariots are two ranks deep, they're "only" a harrassing unit, so they don't deserve the services of the prince...between the points from the envenomed sting and dropping the prince's chariot, you can afford halberds on the TG. They aren't essential, but it makes them killier against everything that doesn't require killing blow, which is most things...I mean, not every foe they face is going to be chaos warriors with hand weapon and shield or blood knights...Against more mundane foes, S5 is a big improvement...so, with almost exactly that many points to spend...I'd take the upgrade. Oh, and the blade of antarhak is great, it'll go a long way to keep the prince alive in that skeleton unit, and he's going to be a huge target, since killing him drops the whole unit down to WS2.

I see what you mean with the prince, dropped his chariot and putting him with the skellies. After doing that and dropping the poison off the Necrosphinx, I have about 75 points to play with. Which gives me the option of going with 3 Carrion, or a naked lvl 1 lich priest. Kinda leaning towards the Carrion.
I would drop one Tomb Guard and add a Scorpion
I wouldn't bother with the enchanted shield on the king. Only a few points, but given 'destroyer' is a great weapon (I believe?) you'd only use it against shooting attacks, and then you'd be pretty unlucky to fail your 'look out sir' roll.
DoE isnt a great weapon anymore
Unless I overlooked it... the Army Book doesnt say anything about the DoE being a GW or req 2 hands.
I think the DoE is still a good weapon, +2 strengt and heroic killing blow. Not counted as a great weapon. Iám also not sure bout the arche skellies. I like them thought. Also the Sepulcheral Stalkers and Necroplis Knights I am not sure about the damage they can do. With the come from below rule also a bit tricky if you rol a misfire and points might be lost. I think the trick with Tomb kings now is to use al lot of infantry blocks. I am also not sur about the NecroSphinx.
